My mom has been on drugs for as long as I can remember. Before she did get addicted to alcohol and drugs though I do kinda remember her and my father being a happily married couple. Until my grandmother died of cancer my mom and her mother were so close with each other, they had a special bond that me and my mom would never have. After my grand mothers' death though you can start to see vodka and more vodka build up in the cabinets.
My mothers favorite drink that she would drink all day though was vodka. I don't know why she loved those so much. Maybe because the other men she would always invite over while my dad was at work. I saw a whole other side of my mom the cheating, the lieing, and the heartbreak was what my mom would do to others. She didn't get started on drugs until my dad and mom divorced and my mom got a new boyfriend name Joesph. That's when she would always leave me and Elijah at home alone for days or even weeks. I know I didn't have what you say the "best mom" , but she was my mom I had to always love her no matter what. Because my dad was never there for me and Elijah, we never really saw my dad after the divorce but it is what it is.
