Chapter Four

"Mom Jake cheated on me and I don't know w-w-what to-o-o do mom."

"Oh honey what can I do for you... look how about you leave everything just for a week and come home just for at least three days just to clear your head... how about that?" My mom's worried voice filled my ears.

I nodded my head but knew she couldn't see me so I replied an okay and she asked the one question I didn't want her to ask, she would hate my sister forever.

"Honey, do you know who was the girl he cheated on you with."

That one question was probably the hardest one I would have to answer in all my twenty-two years of living, not even test in college question were hard.

"Please don't get mad when I tell you mom," I knew this would go bad I just knew it.

Her excited voice rang out of my phone "Okay honey was it that dumb bimbo blonde assistant from his office because if..."

I cut her off before she rants about Emily the assistant in Jake's office "No mom... it was... um... it was..."

"Well out with it just spill honey."

"It was Janet mom."

Silence was all that got

Gosh I knew it was gonna go bad I just knew it.

"Oh honey I'm so sorry how dare your sister go after your boyfriend I'm so sorry," she was probably gonna tell dad but dad won't do much he loves Janet I was a mamma's girl and she was a daddy's girl that's how it was when we were little.

"Just come home honey how about tomorrow I'm already looking at plane tickets okay," I guess I needed a little vacation.

"Okay."

Things I hate about airports is there are a lot of people and little immature kids with parents that just think it cute, well guess what other people don't think it's cute, like me I hate those kids they are annoying. I was waiting for my luggage while a little kid kept slobbering all over my old converse to my right. Another thing I hate is loud people on phones I have been listening to a lady to my left talking about all the cute, hot, sexy, beast boys that were in the airport to her best friend. I hate traveling.

Finally I got out of there and texted my mom asking where she was at, the signs were just confusing I was lost for sure.

"Hi you look lost," a feminine sweet voice I turned around to see a beautiful girl. She had a white shirt with a blue cardigan that had the airport's logo London Heathrow and some black slacks and nice looking Nike shoes.

"Yeah hi I am looking for the way to garage A," hopefully she knew the way.

"Yes you are going to be going the opposite direction and keep going straight until you reach section one and you turn to your left and you'll find the baggage section, you pass that and keep going straight then your going to see two sets of elevators and you press the one that has the letter A."

"Oh thank you..." I read her name tag "... Andrea."

I passed her and went to the directions she had told me and finally got to the sets of elevators, got on and press the one with the letter A just like she said. Finally I will get to see my parents and be away from all the drama that went on, I had to reschedule all my meeting for next week, I used the excuse of it being a family emergency but really it was just me trying to get away from one man that ruined my heart.

The elevator door open and there they were

My parents those were all that I had well I do have my grandparents, my mom was an only child because her mother which is my grandma died giving birth to her. Even if I didn't get to meet her but the stories grandpa says she was one amazing wife and person. On my dad's side he has two twin sisters Julie and Juliet who are married and have kids, my grandparents on my dad's side are on a cruise around the globe. That was my family small but lovable.

"Elise honey you made it ,"just hearing her voice made me cry no matter if I am thirty and she is eighty she would always care about me the most. My dad came and hugged us both like he used to do when we were little but with Janet included, but since I came here to get away from her and the only man that has every gave me the time of day.

"Why don't we get in the car for you can get some rest Elise," my dads voice sounded pained.

Maybe he is thinking how his favorite daughter is a big sl-

My thought were interrupted when my mom started to push me toward the car, dad toke my things to put in the trunk of the car.

Once everything was in the car and everybody was also in the car we finally left the London Heathrow airport, i looked outside my window at all the beautiful places on the way to my parents house. Finally we got to their house and settled in the atmosphere just got awkward when we saw an old man and a more younger man in their living room with my grandpa.

"Dad what are you doing here i thought you were in New Mexico," my mothers surprised voice rang out through the whole house, there was one thing everybody knew about my mother it was never to get her mad or surprise her, she always hated surprises my dad learned the hard way.

" Well I heard about Elise was coming what not to telling the good news than later,"

"What news I'm confused grandpa, and who are these people not trying to be rude or anything,"I looked at the other people in the room, the older man looks like around my grandpa's age and has every expansive suit maybe an older version of an Armani suit and was growing grey hair. The other younger man was little more younger and very handsome and sexy i just wanted to touch him but that would not be polite of me, he was also wearing an Armani suit but a new release of it. These two men made me nervous they seemed important. Maybe i should have dressed better.

"Right I made an offer a long time ago with Mr. Knight that the last baby would have an arranged marriage with his last  grandson to keep the business going and the strong genes will keep going," I was shocked would probably be the statement of the century, if you knew me I don't get scared, shocked, or excited there was only one person to do that.

"Elise meet Mr. Knight's son Max your husband...,"
