Chapter Twenty-Four

Max P.O.V

"Okay she's losing concious someone get the doctor in here now we need to get the baby out someone get the gurney she need imediate c-section if not we are going to lose the baby..."

I can't breathe.

I can't move.

I can't hear anybody.

All I see is Elise on the hospital bed being dragged out of my life.

I can't imagine a life without my love.

Why did it have to happen to my Elise.

I can't wake up in the morning without seeing the love of my life.

I can't.

I just can't.

Sixteen Hours Earlier

"Honey wake up or do I have to dragg you out of bed this morning"

Its been a long ride with the whole pregnancy at first she was very sick always throwing up but the doctor said that it was normal after five months into the pregnancy she finally stopped her trips to the bathroom and I was glad. She hangs out a lot with my sister which I found out she was getting adivorce with her husband which I was extremely happy I neverliked the dude. We later found out he was cheating on my sister with his best friend since before they got married but stopped and then went back with her and hasn't stopped and now they are having a baby and he is cheating with another girl.

Once a cheater always a cheater.

So she is staying with us until the baby is born and so is Nick but I know once he heard that Kellly was getting a divorce it made him the happiest person but he still hasn'tmade a move and I think it has something with my wife always taking Kelly away from Nick but he better hurry before its too late for him to pour out his feelings.

Now my situation was to get my very pregnant wife out of bed because we have a doctors appointment. All of sudden she got up and started to scream with pain and the bed was full with water well I hope its water, when I asked her she just screamed at me a loud yes. I rushed got everything and got the car running and went back to her and carried her to the back seats of the minivan that we went to go get for the baby and others to come. I rushed to the hospital and once we finally got there I carried her inside where I screamed for help.

Today was the day I was going to gain a family member but also lose one.

I was in the living room after the doctors announced that she was losing concious and they kicked me out, I was waiting with Elise parents and my sister and Nick, when after what felt like forever and a lot of praying the doctor came out with a lot of blood on his chest and hands,

"We got the baby he is very healthy and we got him down to the infirmary where we keep the baby for observation before they leave home..." he never got to the point of my wife and I was happy the baby was safe and breathe out a breath of relief but when I look up he looked like the bad news was coming.

"...And your wife right now is concious we are trying to do everything we are trying to get her back but I'm very sorry she isn't responding to anything and I wanted to know if you want us to stop and present her as gone Mr. Knight..." I dropped to my knees crying out my lungs not wanting to stop but I knew I had to answer him, "What I want you to do is..."

Elise P.O.V

Everything was dark, I tried to scream but no one came.

Where was I.

I finally heard a voice.

"Elise dear..."

I turned around and saw a women every beautiful but she had similarities to someone but who, "Hello where am I and Who are you?"

she smiled and said, "Max's mother..."

What! Now I know why she looked fimilar she looks like an older vision of Kelly.

"Hello but where am I why is it so dark..." she smiled at me and hugged me so tight.

"I'm very glad my son met you even though I hate how my father made a deal dealling with my son which wasn't right but at least my dear Elise you have made my son feel things that he should have felt a long time ago and now here you are in the after life but your not suppose to be here and its your time to go back to your body and love my family with all you got". I smiled and pulled away from her, confused on how she expected me to get out of this place.

"After our death he went into his own world and I wanted him to get out of it I watched him and my daughter all this time while trying to find my husband but one day I will and our children would be happy you and Max, Kelly and Nick oh gosh they are the cutest but my daughter needs to open her eyes since the man she should be with is in front of her very own eyes... but that's a different topic its time for you to go back now hurry before its to late..."

"Do you know how to get out of here". She smiled while saying sorry for some reason and pushed me down but I kept going and going until I couldn't breathe and everything turned black again.

Max P.O.V

"What I want you to do is..." I couldn't finish before a nurse came rushing into the waiting room and was looking for the doctor when she finally spotted him she ran towards us with a smile and thats when I knew that my love kept fighting for her to come back to me and was with us and alive.

"Doctor she woke up..." I smiled even wider.

After arguing with the doctor they finally let me see my cruvy wife and led my family and I into a room where I found my wife and our child safetly laying in the hospital bed. When she heard us come in she looked at me with even more love coming off her in waves and I felt at peace.
