(Hiccup x Reader) Dark Paradise

(Ch.2) Him.

I looked at him. Ivy shifted her weight, the guy's night fury, looked towards us. He growled, the guy looked in our direction and said "Calm down, bud.". We slowly walked towards them. I looked into his forest green eyes, he looked in my (e/c) eyes. We probably stood there for a good minute till he spoke up. "Um..hi. You have a night fury?", he said. I nodded, not sure about my voice right now. Our nightfuries just looked at each other, then finally Ivy turned towards me, then looking back on the other fury. I said "What's his name?". The green eyed guy said "Oh, I'm sorry. He's Toothless, I'm Hiccup.". I nodded towards Ivy, they greeted each other and started to play a little. I looked at Hiccup and I introduced myself, "Hi..I'm (y/n).". He mumbled something, that I couldn't hear. Then he spoke up and asked "Where do you live, do you belong to a tribe?". "I live on this island, with Ivy, my nightfury, I don't belong to a tribe anymore.", I said, I answered him honestly.

 His eyes widened for a moment, and he asked"Why?". I looked at Ivy, she was playing with Toothless, then I looked down. I answered "I was banished because I believed that dragons are smart, caring, gentle creatures, also I wanted to explore the world.".  He looked me in the eye for a couple of minutes and he finally spoke, "I'm the same,", he smiled at me, "Do you want to come back to my village, Berk, we all think the same.". I looked at Ivy who looked at me, I smiled. "Just let me pack my things.", I said and turned around ending to my cave. Hiccup and Toothless followed behind. We got to my cave, I started packing. Hiccup looked around in "awe". He spoke up, "How long did you live here?". I continued packing my things and said "Since I was 13, so 6 years.". He sat next to the little pond inside my cave. I finally was done packing. We ended off to berk. 

It took a little bit to get there. We landed in front of the village. People were staring at me and Ivy. I was really nervous, I hadn't been around people in forever. Hiccup called for someone, while I was busy not trying to die from being nervous. Suddenly, I big man, with red hair and a beard came walked towards to me. I assumed he was the chief. He spoke very loudly and deeply, "Hi, Hiccup told me everything, I'm glad you came to Berk!". I jumped a little, and I said thank you. Hiccup walked to me and said "Come on (y/n), I'll show you around.". He started walking and I followed close behind. He showed me all the shops, the great hall, the academy, everything. I was nervous. No doubt about that. He said "Till we get a house built for you, you can stay at my house.". I said, "Wait..can I live in the woods? I feel more comfortable there.". "Yeah, of coarse, I understand.", he said. We arrived at his house. It only had 2 rooms. He said, while getting a pillow and blanket, "I'll sleep on the couch, you sleep on my bed.". I grabbed the pillow and blanket from him and said "No, this is your house, not mine, you already took me into your village, I'll sleep on the couch.". Before he could do anything, I sat down on the couch. He sighed. He went to his room. I thought 'Shit. I need to go fishing, I need food for Ivy and me, and I'll get Hiccup and Toothless some.'. 

I nodded and started making a fire, I was cooking the fish, when I looked at Hiccup. He was smiling at Toothless and Ivy eating. I looked back to the fish. He said, "Thanks (y/n).". "No problem, the least I can do for you.",  I said. The fish was cooked and we both started eating. Hiccup asked me questions. He asked, "Do you miss your family?". I looked straight ahead of me. I said "Only my brother, he understood me and I understood him, we believe the same things, my parents on the other hand, I shouldn't miss them, they would beat me all the time. But, they still are my parents, I love them.". I was gonna cry. Hiccup looked at me, and he hugged me. I cried. I never would let anyone but Ivy 'or my brother but he's gone' see me cry. He was still hugging me, I looked up and he wiped my tears away. I smiled and said thank you. He nodded. At that very moment. I knew, I was falling for him.
