The picture is Leo, not William. ENJOY!
CLAIRE'S POV
I woke up as soon as the Sun was visible over the lining of the trees. I stretched while looking around my tent; noticing all of the tiny details. Like how the dresser has tiny chips in it, making it like a puzzle.
I looked over my left shoulder to look at a sleeping William. His light brown hair had not yet been combed, and covered his eyes a little.
I reached my hand out and gently picked the wavy strays out of face. He stirred a little; thankfully not waking up.
He turned over to where he was now facing the ceiling. I rested my head on his chest; looking up at him every once in a while. I finally gave into temptation and pressed soft kisses along his jawline and down to his collar bone.
"C-C-Calire...." he whimpered. I smiled at his response, and started the trail again. He sucked in a sharp breath at the contact.
I climbed onto his lap; my legs going on either side at this. At this, William opened his eyes. His blue orbs filled with nervousness and hint of excitement.
"Good morning." I greeted him with a smile
"Good morning beautiful. How did you sleep?"
"Good. You?" I asked him
"I slept great, but I have to say I didn't mind waking up this morning. Especially that way." He smirked causing the smile on my face to grow.
I climbed off of his lap and made my way over to my vanity. I looked myself in the mirror absolutely horrified.
"Oh my goodness." I whispered to myself
I quickly got my hairbrush and began to brush my hair. It wasn't as knotted as I thought it would be, but nonetheless it was still a horrendous sight.
After I finished my hair I moved on to my makeup. Which only consisted of a little powder being applied to face to make me look awake.
I heard William groan as he stretched, before finally getting out of bed. He made his way over to me as I was beginning to put my hair up in a ponytail.
He wrapped his arms around my waist and rested his head on top of mine.
I tilted my head back catching him off guard. His lips pressed into mine. I thought that he would pull away, but he didn't.
Instead, he lightly grabbed both sides of my face and deepened the kiss. His lips then left mine and trailed down my neck to my collar bone. He licked the skin before sucking on it. I moaned in response to this.
He laughed a little at this before pulling away. "You have a long day ahead of you, better finish getting ready." He smirked before exiting the tent, leaving me stunned in my spot and trying to slow my breathing down.
"Sly bas***d." I mumbled under my breath before beginning my morning routine again.
After I finished getting ready I went to go and find Houston.
I walked a slow pace, admiring the scenery all around me. The birds chirped and whistled, the trees danced with the wind, and the river flowed in a rhythm.
I wasn't watching where I was going when all of the sudden I ran into someone.
*umph*
I hit the ground with a thud and so did the person.
"Madam," a man's voice said to me, "pardon me, I hadn't seen you walking. My mind was somewhere else." He extended his hand out for me to grab.
Taking it I said, "oh don't apologize sir, it was my fault. I was admiring the forestry and not paying attention." I looked at the strangers face for the first time.
He was very attractive, he had dark hair and beautiful blue eyes. He smiled a warm smile and my heart fluttered a little, but not like it does with William.
"My name is Leonardo, but please call me Leo." He held out his hand to shake mine.
I extended my hand and we shook hands. "Nice to meet you Leo, I'm Claire."
"Nice to meet you Claire. I would love to chat a little longer, but I an afraid that I will be late for a meeting with someone. I hope your day is as beautiful as you are." He said to me before heading off into the opposite direction.
I smiled to myself and was about to start walking again when I felt eyes on me. I stopped walking and turned around, sure enough a little ways down the road was William staring at me in disbelief before marching angrily back to my tent.
"No." I thought to myself before running back to my tent just in time. William was packing his things, this scene saddened me.
"William, what are you doing?" I asked shakily
"What does it look like?! I'm packing my bags Claire, I'm leaving."
"I know what your thinking, but your wrong. I just ran into him when I wasn't paying attention. He helped me up he told me his name, and I told him mine. Nothing happened between us William. Please believe me." I pleaded
He stopped packing his bags, his breathing uneven, and I could tell his heart was beating a mile a minute.
"You didn't cheat on me?" He asked
"No! I honestly can't believe that you don't trust me by now."
"No Claire I trust you, it's men I don't trust. I mean you're so beautiful, and that guy that you were talking to is so much more attractive then me. I don't know I just feel like one day you'll leave me because someone will be more charming and attractive then I am." He said with tears welling up in his eyes.
"Is that how he really felt? Oh my gosh, I feel horrible! I feel like a lot if this is my fault. He doesn't think he's good enough for me, but it's the other way around."
"William, you have no idea, no idea how I feel about you. I always ask myself why you stay with me when there a millions of other girls in Texas that would fall head over heels just to be in your presence. I feel as if you are way to good for me. You are one of the most attractive and funny guy I have ever met. Like I said before, you have no idea how you make me feel. You are the first guy I ever opened up to, and actually got into a relationship with. I don't want anyone else William, I want you." I told him
He didn't say anything, but instead made his way over to me and pulled me into a hug. He kissed my head multiple times, and then he said something I though he never would.
"Claire?" He asked
I hummed in response.
"I love you."
I opened my eyes and looked up at him, "I love you too."
He then kissed my lips and slowly backed me onto the bed.
