Phylicia
Her answer settled into me before the words even finished leaving her mouth.
Yes.
There was no hesitation in it. No uncertainty. Just trust. And that changed everything. I felt it in the way she stayed close, in the way her hands didn't pull back from me, in the way her eyes held mine like she wasn't afraid of whatever came next.
I guided her the rest of the way into the room, slow, giving her space to stop me if she wanted to.
She didn't.
The door pressed softly closed behind us, the quiet of the house wrapping around the moment, holding it in place. Rain began to pour. Hitting the windows and rooftop. Our clothes shed from our bodies. Piece by piece. Tossed and thrown shamelessly until they were bare. neither one of us broke the kiss. Nothing but burning passion flowed through our bodies.
Angela's hands rested against my chest, then slid upward, her touch lighter than mine but just as intentional. "Don't overthink it" I murmured.
She smiled faintly. "I'm trying not to."
"Then don't." My hand lifted, brushing gently along her jaw, my thumb resting just beneath her cheekbone.
Her eyes softened. Her breath caught slightly at that, and I saw it, felt it, the shift in her as she let herself lean into me instead of holding back.
When I kissed her again, it was slower. Not about urgency. About letting her feel exactly where she was, exactly who she was with. She responded, but there was a moment where her hands hesitated, unsure of where to go, what to do next. I felt it immediately. Gently, I caught her wrist, guiding her hand, not forcing, just showing.
"Hey," I said softly, pulling back just enough to look at her. "You don't have to rush anything." Her eyes searched mine. "I don't want to do it wrong."
"You can't," I said. "Not with me."
That eased something in her. I could see it. Feel it.
Her shoulders relaxed, her hands settling again, this time with more confidence, more intention.
I walked her backwards to the bed. I gently push her down onto it. I climbed on top of her. Leaning down placing kisses along her neck as my hand moved along her body, steady, grounding, while hers found their place more naturally now, learning me the same way I was learning her. Her hands slowly felt up my body.
At one point, she shifted, trying to take control of the moment, her hands pressing more firmly, her movement more deliberate. I smiled against her lips, catching her gently.
"Mm," I murmured.
She pulled back slightly. "What?"
"You had control all day," I said quietly, my hand steady at her waist. "Let me have this."
Her breath hitched.I saw it in her eyes, the way she looked at me then, something deeper settling in, something that trusted me enough to let go.
"Okay," she whispered.
