20 (Seventeen Jeonghan x CLC Seunghee)

37 : Goodnight..

Jeonghan finished up quickly. Then they sat at the sofa at the living room and watched TV.

They were only sitting beside each other by then. But Seunghee wanted to cuddle him. She just instinctively snuggled by his arm. Jeonghan was surprised with her gesture.

"It's kinda cold tonight don't you think?" she told him.

"I should turn the heater up. Just a minute."

He was about to stand up but Seunghee didn't let him.

"We can just stay like this. It's enough heat, right?"

"Well... Yah. If you say so."

She smiled at him but he was a little uncomfortable. They had never been this close in contact before. He was also surprised that she was bold enough to initiate something like this.

Seunghee only wanted to stay close to him. She noticed that in the past month, he hadn't really touched her on his own except for holding her hand. Was he scared that she would reject every move he makes on her? Was he thinking about the Seungcheol incident? He should know that he's the one she chose. He should know that she's willing to give him everything. And she's getting everything ready for him. With him, she wanted everything to be infinite.

They stayed like that for a while and before Jeonghan knew it, Seunghee was already asleep. He wanted to take her to the bedroom but hesitated. She was sleeping so peacefully leaning on his arm and looked really beautiful. Jeonghan couldn't help himself. He put away the strand of hair on her cheek and tucked it under her ear. He traced her cheekbone delicately. Then he traced the line of her nose. It was amazing how smooth her skin was. Every part of her face was perfect. He was adoring her. He wished to touch her even more but he restrained himself. He won't give in to his unearthly desires. He will respect her no matter how hard it may be. No matter how unbearable situations may become. Even if his inner misery was almost too much to handle. The only thing that mattered was that he loved her and that's all it should be. So he kissed her on the forehead instead.

"Goodnight Seunghee," he murmured.

Then he closed his eyes too and there on the couch they spent their first night sleep together.

Early the next morning, Seunghee woke up alone on the couch. She wasn't a morning person and getting up was really hard for her. But it became a habit that even if she was still half asleep, she would go to the bathroom to wash her face so she would totally wake up. That day, she did exactly that.

With almost half of her eyelids open, she stood up and walked her way to the toilet. She knew her way to his bath. It was the only restroom in the unit since it was a bachelor's pad. She forgot to search for Jeonghan's whereabouts. She only wanted to wipe away the sleepiness on her face. Maybe he's in his room, she thought.

So without any hesitation, she opened the door of the bath the moment she reached it and walked in. And just like that, she bumped into an almost naked Jeonghan with only a towel around his waistline and a small towel on his head.

"Oh..." she muttered.
