Chapter 1

"Open Doors"

My name is Annie McRidge. I'm moving to the US for... job oppurtunites. Okay. Fine. I'm moving to the US because of my job. I'm  an Interntainer just like my mentors, Rhett and Link. Alright, here's another reason why I'm moving: Rhett and Link are going to teach me their "ways". I need help. And they inspire me. They gladly helped me with my career.

Though I miss my hometown, I was thrilled to start working with my favorite YouTubers. I lived with my grandfather. He was born there... and then he died a few weeks ago. A company had to take down his house since it was like a hundred years old or something. Yeah. Bummer. The problem now is where do I live? And where should I stay as I look for the place I'll live in? This all went down to a conversation. It went something like this:

 "You're kidding me," I smirked.

"I'm not kidding about this one!"

"Really? You kid all the time," I teased.

"I'm serious now! Do you want to stay or not?"

I rubbed my chin. "I don't know... You seem pretty aggressive. Remember that tantrum you threw 2 years ago?"

 "Annie!"

I laughed as Rhett crossed his arms childishly. It had only been two years since we met face to face. It's a long story. I mean, I knew him before that Ear Biscuit episode but it was a the first time I met him personally. Never really got into a serious conversation before that. Anyways, I made my decision.

 "Alright,"

 "What?" Rhett perked up.

 "I'll stay in your house,"

 "Great! That's wonderful!"

"You seem happier than me. Does Jessie agree with this?" I asked.

"Of course, she agreed! It was her idea!"

I snapped my fingers. "I knew it,"

"Alright, knucklehead. You can play around now but in my house, I set some rules,"

  "Fine! One month, then!"

"What?! No! Stay as long as you like,"

"Sounds like you're inviting me to stay,"

 "I--"

 "Hey, what's going on here?"

Link walked in the office, bringing his coffee. I stepped aside as he went to his table to settle the mug. Then he sat on the edge as I took a seat on the couch.

"Oh, living arrangements. This brat's gonna stay with us until she finds an official place to crash." Rhett explained.

"Wait. Us studio or us in your house us?" Link questioned.

"Us my house us," Link clarified.

"Oh, okay. And Jessie's okay with that?"

 "Her idea,"

"Ah. Obvious," Link nodded, taking a sip of his drink.

"So when do you plan on staying?" Rhett asked.

 "Tomorrow sounds great," I shrugged.

He clapped his hands. "Tomorrow it is. I'll just inform Jessie about this,"

Rhett pulled out his phone as he walked out of the room. After finding Jessie's number in his contacts, he placed the phone on his ear. As he did, I smiled. It's really nice of them to let me stay.

"I warn you," Link interrupted my thoughts. "I've known that dork for years. DO NOT touch his wood collection,"

I giggled. "I know. Is there anything else I should know about our Sasquatch friend?"

"Yeah. Don't mess with his game station, Lincoln Logs or Legos. Keep away from his closet. Do not make a mess on the rugs and carpets. Just, seriously, don't. Both him and Jessie would flip out. And, uh... do me a favor and throw away his perfume. The new scent gave me nausea,"

"Alright. I'll take notes on that. Thanks, Link," I teased.

 "Hey, what are friends for?"

Before he exited the office, he leaned to my ear to whisper a secret.

"By the way, you can stay with us if you can't handle to live with the jerk,"

I chuckled and nodded. I love them so much. I don't know what I'd do without them.
