*My New OC: Aurora*

       Aurora is an IceWing- part - RainWing hybrid that came into existence a few years before the War began.

     When the battle began, Aurora's father, an IceWing warrior, fled into the rain forest region after being viciously attacked in an ambush. As he ventured deeper into the forest, he met a RainWing, who was kind enough to tend to his wounds, since she was a healer. It wasn't long before the two dragons fell in love. 

    After a week passed, the IceWing realized he must return to the Ice Kingdom, but he did not want to leave the RainWing. He insisted for her to come, but she didn't want to. This made the IceWing frustrated, for his love for the RainWing was greater than his loyalty for his kingdom. He decided that he would come for a visit her as many times as he could, hoping that the RainWing would be okay. The RainWing agreed, and the IceWing left for his kingdom. 

    Ever since then, the IceWing warrior would return several times to check on his beloved RainWing. A few months later, the RainWing laid an egg with a hue of silvery-white and blue. When the IceWing came for a visit, he was surprised to discover he'd soon become a father of one. With the egg in her claw, the RainWing told her mate that she'd place the egg somewhere safe with other eggs of her kind in her tribe's village. The warrior strongly disagreed, for he wanted the egg to stay by her side, but she insisted she had to, since she needed to do her job as a healer for the RainWings, so she had no time to care for it. With the IceWing in dissaproval, he decided he'd take it to his kingdom, where a friend of his would watch over it. Even though it would be safe having the egg stay in the forest, he did not like the idea of mixing the egg in with other dragons' eggs. So it was decided; the IceWing took their egg to the Ice Kingdom, hoping to bring back a youngster to his mate onced it hatched.

   After a couple of months being incubated, the egg hatched, revealing a little dragon with the body of a RainWing and the horns of an IceWing. The caretaker of the egg was baffled, for he was not told by the father that his mate was a RainWing. After the egg was dropped off at the IceWing's home, he seemed to return less frequently. Because of this, the little baby dragon hardly ever saw either of her parents. One day, another IceWing warrior came into the cave that the caretaker and little dragon lived in. He brought a message, saying that her father was killed in battle by a group of SandWings. The caretaker weeped at the death of her dear friend, but the little one had no idea what had happened. She was far too young to understand. Now that her father was dead, the caretaker was never told of who the mother was.

   Many years passed, and the war had finally ended. The little dragon was now a juvenile, and she was named Aurora by her past caretaker, since the colors that vibrated on her scales reminded her of Northern lights. Since her caretaker discovered she was part RainWing, she told Aurora that she should visit the RainWing tribe every now and then. She did just as she was told, venturing from the Ice Kindom to the Rain Forest Kingdom, and back again. Sadly, she never heard anything of her mother, for she dissapeared long ago, according to local RainWings. With very little information about her parents, Aurora had no idea who she truly is. 

   Aurora now claims her home in both the Rain Forest and Ice Kindom, hoping to one day find out her origins.
