Chapter Thirteen ~ Love

Harry drove straight to Liam's, him and Niall always hang out together after school so he was hoping that they'd both be there so he could talk to them. If Nick wasn't going to be there for Harry then Harry knew his two best friends would be.

Harry pulled up on Liam's drive -- after entering the password. He parked up and walked to the door, head down; he didn't want Liam's mum crying, she'd worry to much. He knocked on the door lightly,

'Who is - Harry!' Liam's mum, Karen, cried out. 'Oh how have you been? Liam and Niall miss you so much!' She exclaimed, Harry smiled despite his heading being down.

'Erm, I-I've been f-fine.' Harry mumbled, mentally slapping himself for stuttering. 'Erm, is Liam or Niall here?' He asked, hoping Karen wouldn't ask him what was wrong.

'Y-yes.' She told him, 'They're both upstairs, are you okay Haz? You sound upset.' Harry nodded,

'Just a rough day, I just need to speak to Liam and Niall.' Harry told her, she nodded before moving out the way and allowing him access into the house.

'Okay but if you need anything dear, you just give me a shout, yeah?' Harry nodded and thanked Karen before jogging up the stairs and going to Liam's room. He lightly knocked on his door, moments later the door opening.

'Harry!' Liam cried engulfing Harry in a large hug, Harry smiled into his shoulder as Niall joined the hug. When they all pulled back Liam noticed Harry's tear-stained face. 'Oh my god Harry, are you okay?! Why have you been crying?!' Liam asked, panic and worry heard throughout his voice.

'N-N-Nick ch-cheated.' He cried, burying his head into Liam's shoulder again. Niall and Liam shared confused glances,

'Wait, I thought you guys broke up.' Niall said, eyebrows furrowing.

'Yeah, he told us you broke up with him and he was using some guy named Danny to get over you.' Liam said, Harry looked up; confused.

'N-No. We never broke up.' Harry stuttered. Niall and Liam's faces turned very very  red.

'How dare he cheat on you and think he has the right to lie to us!' Niall snapped, 'How dare he think that we'd never find out!' Niall yelled, making Harry and Liam flinch; they'd never seen Niall angry, he was always a happy Irish bundle. 'Who the fuck does he think he is?!'

'Ni, calm down.' Liam called out, 'Harry's upset, we can comfort him and then confront Nick on Monday. Harry's more important now.' Niall nodded in agreement before taking a seat next to Harry.

'How comes you came up here anyway?' Niall asked, as if nothing ever happened.

'Well, erm...' Harry stuttered, trying to think of something but no ideas came up, only the truth floated around his head.

'You can say anything Harry, even if its that a...'

'Unicorn chased you across the rainbow!' Niall finished off Liam's sentence making them all laugh.

'Well, I was at school.' Harry started, 'It was first break and I don't know if you remember me telling you about Stan and a guy named Zayn?' Harry asked,

'Oh god, what did they do?' Liam asked,

'Well, they beat me up. I ended up leaving school and running home but mum's never home and I was in such a state, I just wanted to see Nick again but then --' Harry paused before bursting out in tears again.

'I fucking hate some--'

'Niall!' Liam snapped, Niall grew silent before speaking up,

'Sorry.' He mumbled, 'Harry you'll find someone better than Nick, is there anyone you like in your school?' Niall asked,

Harry's shook his head, despite him having slight feelings for Louis he knew that it was just a phase, Louis would never feel the same and he didn't want to admit he was thinking of other guys while he was in a relationship with Nick; even if Nick was cheating!

'How's you get up here anyway? Last time I checked you didn't have a car.' Liam asked, Harry paused before rummaging through his pockets and taking out the small note. He handed it to Liam,

'It turned up on Tuesday or Wednesday.' He mumbled, Liam and Niall squabbled over the note before Niall was able to read it aloud.

'This properly means someone likes you.' Niall said, smirking before hitting Harry playfully. Harry smiled a little before shaking his head.

'No one likes me in Cheshire.' Harry said, sighing. 'I sit alone, I work alone and I am alone when I'm there.' The room went silent.

'Well you're not alone now!' Liam announced.

'Yeah! Let's all hang out, us three; just like before!' Niall announced, 'I mean Liam's a little boring when you're not here.' Niall joked, Liam hit Niall playfully before they all made their way downstairs. Harry felt a little better by just being with his friends again. He felt whole.

'Harry, can I tell you something which may be considered as a little offensive?' Karen asked as the three boys battled on a game she'd never even heard off. Harry nodded, wondering what she'd want to say. 'Well, I'm just wondering if you've actually eaten anything in a while? Your stomach seems to have shrunk a lot since we last saw you, which was only two weeks ago might I add.'  

Harry didn't reply, trying to think of the last time he'd eaten. Which was last weekend and even then he didn't eat much.

'Erm, I haven't really had that much of an appetite.' Harry told her, biting his lip. She frowned before nodding, worrying thoughts floating through her mind. Niall and Liam picked up on what Harry had said and began to worry to but didn't want to say anything just encase Harry took it badly (and he was already going through quite a bit).

'I should really go now, I haven't seen dad yet.' Harry announced as they finished playing their game. 'I need to tell him what... Happened.' Harry gulped, Karen looked at Harry worryingly but ignoring what he'd said. Liam and Niall nodded,

'Okay Haz, will we see you again?' Niall asked, Harry nodded,

'I want to stay here for a week.' Harry mumbled, they all nodded; wondering what he'd do about school but ignoring the thought; everyone could clearly see Harry wasn't in the mood. He looked drained, physically and emotionally. 'Well bye.' Harry said, giving Liam and Niall one last hug before leaving to go to see his dad...

So I was going to do this weekly but I really can't do that, I just want to update all the time now! So the least amount of updates will be once a week and the most will be around four a week. It's just because it's the start of school and I don't have much to do as there's no homework at the moment however that may change as the school year goes on as I pick my options this year and I really need to work hard for the last few years!

Okay, that's all. Is this okay? I quite like the relationship Haz has with Niall and Liam, Niall's rather protective and Liam's comforting. The perfect match if you ask me.
