Sitting on my bed, getting ready to go to sleep, I started thinking about what had happened earlier this day. When I finally found out Zach's name, I was kind of shocked. I didn't think he would actually tell me his name. It surprised me. He seemed mysterious. I honestly thought I would have to figure out his name when I got to his office in D.C.
But in order to do that, you would have to know his name to find his office. That's why he told me his name! I should've known he wouldn't tell me just because. But now that I think of it, how can he have his own office? He looks like he's my age... Maybe his family works there? I'm not exactly sure. I am definitely going to have to figure that out.
After I finally got out of my own head, I realized I had been standing there by the closed door, which Zach must have shut on his way out. Since nobody was home still, I went upstairs and tried to figure out what I could pack. Since I'll be there during the summer, I'm going to pack some shorts, but I'm not exactly sure if I have to wear business attire while I'm working, or if I could just wear jeans and a tee shirt. As I was walking past my dresser, I saw a piece of paper, that I know wasn't there before. I picked the paper up and it read,
"You can wear whatever you want to. You don't have to look like you're working on Wall street. See you in a month Gallagher Girl. -Z"
I have never seen this messy scrawl before. But then it clicked in my brain who wrote it: Zach. How did he know I would wander what I would wear? And how did he get into my room to put that piece of paper on my dresser? Questions keep on coming up when it comes to Zach. I will figure them out someday.
*Next Day at School*
Pulling into the parking lot at Gallagher High, I see Macey, Bex, and Liz waiting by the door.
I guess they're waiting for me since they do this everyday. I grab my backpack and head on over to them."Hey guys!" I say.
Everyone replies back with some variation of "hey".
"So guys, I have some amazing news! I got into the CIA internship program!" I had to tell them, since I didn't tell them last week when I originally found out.
"We all found out we got in as well! I'm so glad we all applied!" Liz said.
The only problem is that not all of us are going into the National Clandestine Service internship. Liz is going into the Computer Science/Engineering program. But we will still be in D.C. at the same time, so that's okay.
"Now that we all know we have been accepted, where are we going to live while we're there? We can't possibly drive an hour there and back every day. That would just be a waste of gas, and lose of beauty sleep." Leave it to Macey to think about beauty sleep.
It was at this point that Liz pointed out it was almost time for class. We each had different classes, but we all had our classes at the same time. [A.N. they don't have the same classes, but they have the same class times, if that makes sense. If not, comment and I'll try to explain it better.]
I'm not going to bore you with my classes, because nothing happened. Nothing every happens except for all of the assignments and papers the teachers assign.
Today, we decided we would meet up in the cafe after class. I went in the line for lunch, and grabbed a slice of pizza, a side of fruit, and a water.
I got out of line and saw Bex sitting at our table. I started walking over and had a questioning look on my face. Bex said, "Mr. Smith let us out early. He had to go to a meeting that was mandatory for all of the Criminal Justice teachers."
"Oh. Hey, how did you find out you got the internship?" I was curious. Did the other girls have someone come to them? Was Zach the only one our age that is an agent? Or were there more?
"I'm not sure about Liz and Macey, but this really cute guy came and told me. He looked like a Greek God! He was so hot!" Bex was blushing. I have never seen her blush. She never gets embarrassed, and it's rare for her to really like a guy to where she would blush just from talking about him.
"How old was he?" I remember when she first met my step father, she thought he was hot then. So who knows how old this guy is.
"Well he looked like he was our age, maybe a year older. How did you find out?"
"A guy our age stopped by and told me. How are they agents? If they are our age, they should be interns, not agents. The guy who told me I was in, told me I had to meet him in his office next month. Why would he have an office already?"
"Now that you mention it Cam, that does make sense. How it is possible?"
"How it what possible?" Macey and Liz both said at the same time. We explained our thoughts on the discussion, and it turns out they were in the same boat. Liz decided she would try to hack into the CIA, which she does all the time, and figure anything about these guys. She first started with her guy last night, and she couldn't find anything on him. Bex, Macey, and I gave her the names of our guys, and she got to work on her laptop she always carries with her.
At the end of lunch she said, "I can't find anything on any of them! Why can't I find them? I can always find whatever I need. They must be either really good, or really high up in ranks, somewhere near the director for me not to be able to find them."
That adds more questions to my questions list. How can they be our age, with that high of a ranking that Liz couldn't find them? Liz has and IQ better than Einstein had. She is always hacking into the CIA, FBI, NSA, MI5, MI6, and any other agency in the AlphaNet. How mysterious can Zach get?

So guys I know it has been almost a year since I have updated. I hope this extra long chapter makes up for it! I would like to thank fall-out-boy-fangirl.
She made me realize, that it's been so long, and that I plan on making this a long story. I appreciate every single person who has read this, added it to their reading list, voted, and commented. I hope you guys love this chapter! Go comment and tell me what you think is going to happen, and whether you want Preston or Nick. I know some people prefer one over the other, and I don't really care, so I'm leaving that up to you guys to decide. I am going to try to have the next chapter up sometime this month.
My mom, brother, and I are all in college, and you know how little kids always ask their parents for help on their homework? Well that just happens to be what my mom and brother do to me. So I have been swamped with helping them, keeping my own homework up, and dealing with family problems.
Well that's it for this authors note. Just don't forget to vote for this story, and comment what you think is going to happen once the girls get to D.C.!
