Medication Gone Wrong

Evelyn's POV.

I awake to the sound of buzzing. I slowly open my eyes and look around. I see double of everything, but I know for sure where I am.

The hospital.

A voice suddenly startles me, and I turn in the direction it's coming from.

"How are you feeling?" A young woman asks me. I look at her tag and it says "Dr.Styles".

"Um...why are there four of you?" She let's out a musical laugh. Even with my blurred vision, I can still see that she looks like someone in a picture that I saw....

Who is it?

"That's your medication that you were prescribed. I think it was a shrink, wasn't it?" Her voice echos, but I can still make out what she's saying.

"Yes." I say, but my voice sounds distant.

"Who did you exactly see and what was it for?"

"I saw Dr.Payne and it was because I was seeing things. I still am."

"Mm hm." I think she's writing this down. "How old are you?"

"17."

"How many was per day did you have to take the pills?"

"I think it was one."

"How many did you take?" Uh oh.

"Um...I don't remember."

"Are you sure?"

"Uh...I think it was two."

"That's not good..." She says. No, no it isn't. "Ok, don't take the pills anymore. When you home after we discharge you, check the bottle and see the side affects, ok?"

"Ok." I say back.

"Get some rest now, we have medicine that will take away the hallucinations through your IV and we should be able to discharge you later today." I sigh, but nod my head. I need rest anyways.

I close my eyes, as I hear Dr.Styles walk away. And then I'm sure I'm alone in the room. All of a sudden, though, there's new sets of footsteps comeing towards my bed, and when I slowly open my eyes, I see Lizzy and my father hovering over my bed.

"How are you feeling?" Dad asks.

"Mm..the same really. A little less dizzy though."

"Maybe it's better you rest for a while." Lizzy says. "We should leave her for a little bit so she can sleep." Dad nods his head.

"That sounds like a good idea." The two wave to me before leaving me all alone again. I close my eyes again and try to get some sleep. This time, it works, and sleep and darkness soon surround me.

I open my eyes, to see that Dr.Styles, Dad, Lizzy, and a nurse are all in my hospital room.

"How are you feeling?" Dr.Styles asks me.

"Um...better." I realize my vision is clear, and so is my hearing. "I can see and hear pretty normal now."

"I think it's ok to discharge you, don't you think?" I nod my head. "Ok I'll go get the paper work, and don't forget about what I said to do, ok?" I nod my head again. "Alright then. I'll be right back." Her and the nurse leave the room, and Dad and Lizzy walk over to me and help me out of the bed.
