What if  Maya looks back on her past as she is getting ready to walk down the isle to marry Miles?

Maya Matlin stood in front of the long mirror, slightly pulling on her beautiful white dress, fixing the skirt of the dress.

"You look beautiful, Miles is a lucky man." Katie, Maya's older sister said

In a matter of 10 minutes, Maya Matlin will be Mrs Maya Hollingsworth. Maya stared down at her single diamond silver engagement ring.

"He really is. But I'm the lucky one, I get to marry the man of my dreams." Maya said. For the last 9 years of Maya's life, her and Miles have been on and off but when Maya turned 22, Miles proposed on her birthday. Now they were finally getting married.

"Maya, it's time." Maya's father said, popping his head in the door

Maya and her father stood behind all the bridesmaids and groomsmen. As the music started to play and everyone started walking down the isle, Maya and her father made it to the alter as Mr Matlin gave Maya away to Miles.

"You may all be seated." The priest said as he started the traditional wedding talk

"Maya Grace Matlin, do you take Miles to be your lawfully wedded husband? In sickness and in health, in riches and in poor? As long as you both shall live?" The priest asked

"I do." Maya said as Miles slid the silver, thin little wedding band with small diamonds onto her small finger

"Miles Alexander Hollingsworth the third, do you take Maya to be your lawfully wedded wife? In sickness and in health, in riches and in poor? As long as you both shall live?"

"I do." Miles said as Maya slid the simple silver ring onto his finger

"I now pronounce you husband and wife, you may now kiss your bride." The priest said

Miles smirked at Maya before grabbing her waist and pulling her to him. Maya put her arms around his neck as they lightly kissed. They pulled apart and looked at each other before joining hands and running down the isle to their new life as a married couple.
