What if Maya and Miles had their first real fight as a married couple and it disturbs their child?

They don't even remember how it started.

Something about Miles missing another one of their daughters soccer games for work.

It escalated quickly.

"But Miles you don't understand! She needs you in her life! Do you really want to become your dad and miss all of your child's big moments? Huh? Cause that's what your doing!" Maya yelled at her husband of 8 years while following him around the house

They had been married for 8 years but had never had a fight like this one.

"Maya I'm not going to tell you again, I was working! You know where you do work to earn money that feeds your mouth and keeps a roof over our daughters head!" Miles yelled

Just then, their 7 year old daughter was standing at the top of the stairs listening to them fight,

"Well Miles, I get so frustrated when I'm the one stuck cooking, cleaning, and taking care of a 7 year old all day while you get to sit at work and do nothing because, oh yeah, YOU WORK FOR YOUR DADDY!" Maya screamed before walking into the front room, about to go up the stairs

"MAYA! DONT WALK AWAY FROM ME MAYA HOLLINGSWORTH!" Miles screamed, going after her

Just then, their daughter ran down the stairs,

"MOMMY, DADDY STOP IT!"

They stopped yelling and looked at their child. They saw her tears streaming down her cheeks, her puffy red eyes, little sobs here and there,

"Oh I'm so sorry Addison, did we wake you up?" Maya asked

"Why are you two fighting?" Addie asked

"Oh we're not fighting baby girl, we are just talking." Miles said as they all sat down on the couch

"More like screaming..." Addie said as Maya whipped her tears with her thumbs

"I've never heard you two fight before...I don't like it." Addie said, more tears streaming down her face

Miles pulled his daughter into his lap and whipped her tears again

"I'm sorry baby girl, I promise you I won't miss another soccer game or school event ever again, okay?" Miles said sincerely

"Okay, you better come to my soccer game this Saturday, I'm the goalie!" Addie said

"I wouldn't miss it for the world kid." Miles said as he kissed the top of her head

"Time to get back to bed Addie, mommy and daddy have a few things to talk about." Maya said as she sent Addie back to bed

"I'm sorry Maya. I was out of line and I shouldn't be working as much as I do, I should be home with my lovely daughter and my amazingly hot wife." Miles said

"Oh your such a suck up..." Maya said before she kissed her husband

In the end, Maya and Miles came out stronger than ever.
