Chandler looked at Ross, then back at Monica.
"I can't believe you told him" Monica ran out the door.
"Monica wait" Chandler ran after her while Ross stared at the door.
"Wow, that is a lot to take in" Ross said to himself. He quietly took a sip of his drink.

"Mon" he grabbed her arm once he caught up to her.
"No, Chandler" she glared at him, Daniel fidgeted in her arms.
"Look, will you let me explain"
"Fine, please explain to me"
"I didn't know he was going to be here" Chandler said. "I just found out yesterday that you two were related, and I didn't tell him"
"Really" she looked up at him.
"Yes, please believe me" he prayed that she would.
"I do" she smiled at him. "But what am I going to say, and on top of that Daniel isn't feeling well"
"How about I take Daniel while you talk to Ross, I was going to take a half day anyway" Chandler said.
"O-Ok" Monica agreed. Once they finally got everything settled with Mr. Turner, Chandler headed back to Monica's place while Monica began working.

She could feel Ross's gaze on her as she dropped of the food at table 3. Monica glanced at the clock and saw it was now her break. She took a deep breath as she sat down beside Ross.
"So-" she started.
"Is Chandler the father" Ross asked with that concern yet serious face.
"What, no, we just work together" Monica said. Ross face softened. "Yeah, the father left when he found out I was pregnant"
"Oh" he said, and ran his fingers through his hair. "Why didn't you tell me"
"I wanted too, believe me I wanted too, but Mom-" she looked into his eyes and saw her brother not her horrible brother that she hated but the brother who cared about her. "She made me not to tell you, she um, put me in a hotel when you came over"
"I can't believe this" he rubbed his temples. "Um so what's his name"
"Daniel Ross Geller" she smiled and took out a picture from her pocket. She always kept a picture close to her.
"Wow, he looks just like you" he took the picture from her and stared at it. "Can I meet him"
"Of course"
"Thanks" he said hugging her and they stayed like that for a while.

Once Chandler got back to Monica's place, Daniel wasn't looking that good.
"I-I'm c-cold" his teeth chattered. Chandler placed the back of his hand on Daniel's forehead and felt how hot it was.
"Wow buddy you are burning up" Chandler said putting him on the couch.
"B-But I-I'm c-cold" his body shook. Chandler grabbed a rag out of the bathroom and wetted it. He returned and put the rag on Daniel's forehead. "I-I d-don't f-feel g-good"
"I know buddy, let me find medicine" he stood up from the couch and walked into the bathroom to find medicine. After a short while of looking through the cabinet, he returned empty handed. Chandler saw Daniel was standing holding onto the couch for support.
"C-Chandler I-I-" he fell foreword and luckily Chandler caught him before he fell.
"Buddy" he gently shook him trying to wake him up. "Buddy" he felt his forehead again, this time it was burning. Chandler fished through his pocket trying to find his phone. He flipped it open and called the restaurant.
"Hello"
"Hi, this is Chandler Bing, is Monica Geller there"
"Yes please hold on" the voice said and a few seconds later Monica was on the phone. "Hello"
"Monica it's me" his voice shook as he held Daniel.
"Hey Chandler what's up"
"Mon it's Daniel"
"What, what happened, is he ok, Chan-"
"I don't know, he collapsed and isn't waking up"
"Oh my god" Monica placed a hand over her mouth. Her body trembled as she heard Chandler's word. Ross saw Monica's reaction and ran over to her.
"Meet me at the Beth Israel Medical Center" and with that he hung up. Chandler scooped Daniel up and raced out the door. On the sidewalk he got some strange glances from people. He didn't know how much time it would take to get Daniel to the hospital by taxi so he ran like he was on fire, Chandler kept one eye on Daniel and one eye on where he was going. Some people would cheer him on, or scream at people to make some room for him

Monica found Mr. Turner and told him what happened. He told her to go and wish Daniel well. Monica raced outside and flagged down at taxi, she climbed into the car followed by Ross. He took her hand and gave it a gentle squeeze.

Chandler finally made it the hospital out of breath and he felt like he could collapse. He ran to the front desk. Doctors took Daniel away from him while Daniel slowly woke up. He was sweating.
"Name" a nurse asked Chandler.
"Chandler...Bing..." He panted.
"Patient's name"
"Daniel Geller" Chandler looked over and saw Daniel was now awake still fidgeting in the arms of the doctors who were feeling his forehead. He began to walk over to them so Daniel wouldn't be afraid. But the nurse placed a hand on his shoulder holding him back.
"Relationship with the patient"
"He's...my...friends's...son" he said
"I'm sorry but only relatives are allowed to go back there"
"What" he said shocked. He saw the doctors walking toward the back with Daniel who was crying.
"Chandler, don't leave me" he cried.
"I won't buddy" he said as the nurses pulled him back.
"Sir you can sit right here" he sat down and put his head in his hands. He felt like a failure. "Do you want a glass of water" he nodded and took the cup and tried to drink but every time he went to take a sip it would remind him why he was here. Finally he couldn't take anymore his throat was on fire, he gulped the water down letting it refresh his throat.
"Chandler" he looked up and saw Monica had ran in with Ross. He jumped up and threw his arms around her.
"Monica"
"Where's Daniel, is he ok" her heart was beating as she clung onto Chandler.
"I don't know, they wouldn't let me go with him since I'm not related"
"Mr. Bing and I'm guessing Ms. Geller" Monica nodded. "We got the test results back and..."
