Next morning.

I woke up still in the same place as last night. I reached for my phone and clicked on the home button. Fredo: 35 missed calls, 3
messages. Felicity: 79 missed calls, 10 text messages. 14 voicemails.

I started with the text messages.

Felicity: My mom knows.

I'm sorry.

Are you there?

Please pick up.

Justin!!!!!!!!

Are you okay?

Please wake up!

Answer me!

I'm coming over tomorrow morning.

Justin.

Fredo: Hey bro, call me.

I'm really sorry about everything that happened in between us. I hope you can forgive me.

Are you okay?

Just then Felicity called me again and there was a bang on the door.

"Open up Justin!"

I turned towards the door. I slowly sat up and tried standing up but it was too hard. My arms felt heavy and I could barely move.

Shit... The effects were still on me. "I'm fine, go back h-home," I yelled.

"Please let me see you. We need to talk," she said.

"We can t-talk later."

"Please?"

I tried getting up again and succeeded. Pulling my sleeves down, I slowly shambled my way towards the door. I pulled it open and tried standing at straight as possible.

"Why haven't you answered?" She asked pushing me aside and walking in.

I realized that I didn't hide the box. Shit. "I was asleep," I answered.

"I was worried about you. Did you read my texts?" She asked.

"Your mom found out?" I asked.

"Yeah, she recognized you from the mall," she explained as she walked closer. "What's wrong with your eyes?"

"Nothing," I snapped.

"Are you high?" She asked.

"Maybe..."

"Ugh... Great..." She said.

"Sorry..."

"Call me when you're conscious and actually listening," she said before walking away.

I walked into the bathroom and splashed some water on my face to wake me up more. I slowly gained consciousness. Being able to move now I walked back to my bed and grabbed my phone. I dialed Fredo's number.

"Hello?" He answered.

"Hey sorry for not answering last night," I said.

"It's alright man, I know you and Felicity got back together and you're probably all lovey dovey," he said.

I chuckled and realized that he probably gave her my number, "Thanks for telling Felicity to call me."

"No problem, that's what friends are for right?"

"Yeah."

"I'm sorry for the shit I said the l-"

"It's fine, don't worry about it," I said cutting him off.
