Lastly, was Kylie. She ran to the gymnasium. The gym was the shortest distance from the playground. Kylie ran into the gymnasium, and went straight into the equipment closet to hide. Kylie knew she was in the worst place. Kylie began biting on her fingers trying to calm herself down. She hadn't seen the creature behind her, or hadn't heard the door open or close a second time after she had already came in, so she felt a little more safe. She was scared for her friends. She thought about Brandon and Kaitlin, who had immediately ran off in different directions. Suddenly, Kylie remembered Megan. Megan had tripped backwards at the same moment the creature came out of the woods. Kylie thought now more than ever, that one of her best friends were surely dead. Kylie tried to calm herself down so she wouldn't cry. She couldn't take all of this death, horror, suspense, any of it. Kylie enjoyed horror movies so much, but she never wanted to be a part of one. She had always watched those movies, maybe made fun of one or two of the female characters with ugly hair, but never thought that someone could be doing the same thing to her right now, but she only wished it was only a movie and it wasn't real life. Kylie looked at the time, and it was 12:27 a.m. She was already supposed to be back at her friend's house with her other friends. Kylie looked around desperately for any sort of weapon, but the only thing she could find were some jump ropes, some hula-hoops, and some kick balls. Kylie decided that she was done. She pulled out her phone and dialed the police. She slowed her breathing down so when she spoke, it would be clear and quiet. "911, what's your emergency?" The phone said. "Uh, yeah, I'm at Seven Pines Elementary School, and I'm hiding inside the gymnasium because someone or something is trying to kill my friends and I, and I'm so scared right now, can you please send someone to come and help us please." Kylie begged. "What's your name?" The operator asked. "Kylie." She replied, feeling every nerve in her body about to implode. "Well, Kylie. It's pretty late outside and you're on private property, so you're trespassing, and I'm gonna be quite honest. I think you're pulling a prank." The operator told Kylie. Kylie's heart shattered. "No, no, no, please I'm not joking, please send help." Kylie begged even more, she noticed her voice started to get louder. Suddenly, her phone shut off. Kylie looked at her phone to see what happened, and her phone just seemed to have broken. Kylie threw her phone out of anger, but regretted her decision after she did it. Her phone slammed into the door and broke into pieces. Not only did it break, it made a loud noise. Kylie started breathing heavily, knowing something was about to happen. Suddenly, she heard music, and not just any music. The music seemed to be getting louder, which meant closer, so she could hear it. The doors of the gymnasium opened and finally Kylie knew what the music was. Carnival music. Kylie covered her mouth to shut herself up, but to no avail. Kylie was crying and there was no stopping. The foot steps and music were getting louder by the second, when finally, Kylie knew they were right outside the equipment doors. Kylie took a deep breath, stood up and was ready to try and bolt out of the door when the creature opened it. The creature slowly unlocked the door, making sure Kylie heard every click, then slowly slid the door open. Kylie opened her mouth and screamed when the creature behind the door was revealed. A distorted clown, wielding about 3 or 4 weapons was standing before Kylie. Kylie told herself she would run, but her legs forgot to move, and she remained still. The twisted clown slowly held the gun up to Kylie's open, wordless mouth, then moved it slightly up to her head. The clown slowly clicked the trigger, but nothing happened. Kylie exhaled in relief, and remained calm, but the clown cocked the gun again and shot her in the head when Kylie was finally relieved. Kylie was dead.
