I still don't like Sally, but this time, I find her to be like a closeted lesbian with internalized fear of not being good enough. I mean, her dad was a big piece of shit in the comics, his poisonous ideals probably sunk its teeth into her.
Not to mention how misguided all her actions were. She slapped Sonic because he didn't want to settle down with her! Bad writing, yeah, but still....
