The twins sat on their bed saddened on the task ahead of them

“I don’t want to do this, Karou” Hikaru whispered crying “I don’t want to say those words to her again”

Today Tamaki had ordered them to spend the day with Rose and attempt to regain her memories of them. But, Rose doesn’t have the fondest memories of the twins.

Some things are better left forgotten.

When Hikaru and Karou were in middle school, they said such hateful words to Rose thinking she was just another girl who liked the twins. But, with Roses background of being constantly abandoned it left her with an overemotional heart. When the twins were done Roses heart was broken beyond repair.

For a very long time, Rose was depressed. She was unable for a long time to find any happiness in anything.

If Tamaki hadn’t come along recruiting Rose to join the host club, she more than likely would have committed suicide.

Since then, Rose has felt that she owes Tamaki with her life.

“I was thinking” Hikaru began after sharing silence with his brother “what if… we just start over”

Karou looked up, surprised. “What do you mean, Hikaru?”

Hikaru whipped the dry tears from his cheeks “what if we let Rose forget all those bad things we’ve done to her… and make new, happy memories with her today” he shot up from bed “yeah, we can start over”

Karou considered the idea, but if she forgot everything; Rose would forget their kiss in the dress shop, the carnival trip when she tried funnel cake for the first time, the time the host club went to Kyoya’s father’s water park and the twins had picked out Roses bathing suit. In a way, Karou knew that Rose had forgiven them for the awful things they’ve said all those years ago. Rose was like that, she didn’t hold grudges.

Suddenly their bedroom door opened and Yuzuha strutted in wearing her stunning smile “good morning boys!” she chimed “your lady friend is waiting downstairs and I got the day off!” she flapped onto the bed throwing her arm around Karou “come on, let’s hang out my little Hikaru”

“Mom, I’m Karou” he said trying to smile

She smirked “oh yeah, sorry Karou” she sat up strutting to their closet pulling two outfits out “here you go, now I’ll be waiting downstairs with your little Rose! We need to catch up-“

“No!” the twins yelled together “she’s got really bad amnesia”

Their mom looked up surprised “really? Well, is there anything I can do to help?”

The twins smiled “yeah, go dress shopping with us. Thiers a ball coming up and Rose has nothing to wear”

“By the way, she goes by Lillian now” Karou added “and please mom whatever you do, don’t bring up the past”

The twins held Roses hands while Yuzuha was leading ahead to a dress shop. Rose had her black hair in a curly comb over; she wore a pink tank top with a white leather jacket over, and matching white pants, and white and pink high heels.

“Lillian!” Karou chimed “do you do have a color in mind?”

Rose smiled “yeah, dark blue! It’s Mori’s favorite color” Rose got out her phone checking for messages “huh, I wonder where Satoshi is” she looked around until she spots him in the distance “hey!” she said waving “did you get lost?” she ran up giving Satoshi a warming hug.

“Hey Lillian, are you sure if it’s okay that I tag along?” he said shyly “I mean, won’t Takashi get mad that I’m at the mall with his girlfriend”

She grabbed his hand “of course not, now come on. I need help picking something out!” she led him into the shop with the twins and their mom following behind.

*later in the dress shop*

Karou followed behind Rose waiting for a chance to talk to her but Satoshi always seemed to get in the way. “So, what kind of things are you into?” Satoshi asked “like, do you take Kendo or Karate classes?” Rose looks up surprised “um yeah actually, I’ve been taking Kendo. Don’t really know why… I just do” she squeezed her eyes shut squeezing his shoulder

“Lillian, what’s wrong?” he asked clenching her shoulders “Lillian, do you want to leave?” she nodded “I can’t go home like this; mom will worry…” she rubbed her head “ever since the… accident. I have these migraines. Please, take me to a cherry blossom garden… please” she begged. The twins were off looking at different dresses with their mother as Satoshi quickly rushed her out taking her to the one place he knows just recently began growing cherry blossoms…
