The Host Clubs Rose 3: Remember

Chapter 8: "Graduation"

I took in a deep breath as headmaster Suoh stood at the podium in front of the graduating students and thier families as cherry blossom petals rained down on us as if wishing the graduating class good luck. "and now, it is with my greatest pleasure to introduce a girl who... has proven herself worthy of this magnificent honor. she's been gone obove and beyond balancing her duties as a hostess and school work" he paused as most of the girls cheered, and some of the guys. "yeah, Rose!" a guy yelled in the back making everyone laugh. "I'm please to intoduce Heather Rose Mary Capulet!"

Everyone cheered loudly as Mr. Suoh stepped away from the podium shaking my hand before taking a seat on stage.

I took in a breath spotting my most favorite group of guys sitting in the second row, smiles on thier faces. I met eyes with Mori standing in the isle next to the rest of the guys with Honey on his shoulders clenching a bouquet of dark blue and red roses. my hands trembled "sorry, I'm not really good at speeches" everyone laughed reassuringly "you got this Rose!" the guy in the back yelled. I searched until I finally met eyes with Zac standing in the back row with my mom.

"I want to start by saying..." I took in another deep breath "I came into this world feeling unwanted, but now... ever since I began attending Ouran... i've never felt more loved and wanted in my life" I smiled at Mori mouthing "I love you". "I came here, went through a lot of bad things... but I've never felt any better. these past few years have made me into the girl that I am now standing before you. and I have the host club to thank for that" everyone clapped. "I don't know what lies ahead, 'cause I never think about the future. I want it to be a surprise. People need to remember that nothing is set in stone. change your mind, then change it again. It doesn't matter, we've all worked hard to get this far in life... who says we have to stop now?" I paused meeting eyes with Tamaki who nodded for me to continue "I have advice for you out there, be yourself. life isn't going to get easy just because school is over. go out into the world, and treat people with kindness. because everyone of you out there is beautiful. inside and out" I took a breath as everyone began cheering. the crowd roared standing as they applauded. the guys ran down the isle throwing thier arms around me pulling us all into a group hug as graduation caps began showering down. Mori pushed everyone aside picking me up twirling me around making me laugh, then pulled me in for a kiss.

"well, I guess I was wrong..." we all turned meeting my mothers eyes as zac stood by her side "you really can protect her, the magic I casted on her could only be broken completly by the one person who loves her the most..." she sighed "I guess that's you" she unclipped her locket placing it into his hand closing it "you deserve it. who knows, you can pass it down to your daughter" she turned away disappearing into the crowd. Mori popped it open showing me a picture of me and mother when I was a child, and a picture of me and Kyoya painting. right before my eyes the pictures disolved leaving a picture of me and Mori holding three small children, the other is a picture of me and Mori at the carnival.

"I think your mother's expecting them" Mori said pointing at the picture of us with three kids "I guess her magic can show is the future" I laughed under my breath "what a crazy bitch" Mori clipped the locket around my neck, Honey still on his shoulders holding the bouquet and usa-chan. I took Honey from Mori holding him close "Lets go eat some cake one last time" he nodded as we headed towards the host club for the last time.

We walked in to our surprise a crowded host club of screaming girls yelling "Surprise!" they had put up a banner that read "we'll miss you!" Balloons covered the floor, streamers hung from every high surface the girls could cover. Everyone in the host club was smiling from ear to ear.

in this moment in my life, i'm happy.

really happy.

suddenly a heart beat fills my ears, is it mine?

"guys do you hear that?" I asked not being heard by anyone.

the heart beat was joined by voices "We're losing her!"

"what's going on?!" I screamed horrified

the heart beat thudded again. I could hear muffled breathing as if someone was wearing an oxygen mask. it was growing weaker and weaker "she's going into cardiac arrest! we need paddles!" I fell to my knees covering my ears "this isn't real!" I screamed. I felt a sudden jolt coursing through my body making me scream.

then, I blacked out.
