One-shot: Daily Journal

Characters: Onimikeler (Onity, Mike, and Tyler), Jeremy Fitzgerald.

Prompt: Onity is a 6th grader in middle school, and in his english class, he is assigned a journal that he can write whatever he wants in, as long as he does so daily. This is what he writes.

Note: Not a well planned out one-shot. I just wanted to write something.

Mrs. Overland

Period 3

Today is the first day of Mrs. Overland's English class, and she has given us books and told us to write something in it every day. She said she'll give us ten minutes at the start of each class to write something. She said it could be anything we wanted, so we could write poems or stories or even daily logs. I'm not sure what i'm going to do. Mrs. Overland says it's a good exercise, but I don't understand how. Welp, looks like the time is up. How exciting.

Mrs. Overlord

Period 3

Ey, it's that time again! Still not sure what i'm going to write. I've realized I don't really like Mrs. Overland. She's kinda dramatic and gets upset easily. But anyway, last class I asked some of my class mates what they wrote about. So far we don't have to share our journals, so you could believe what I heard. This kid named Ender wrote a short story about them and their friend Shadow. I overheard from someone's conversation that they also wrote about this group of kids called Team Crafted.

I tried talking to my old friends again, since i'm so lucky to have them again this year. One's name is Mike, and he's a bit taller then me. He's quite, and wont tell me what he wrote. And there's my friend Tyler too. He said he just wrote how his first day went since he didn't really have an idea yet. Writing isn't his thing anyway.

Mrs. Overland

Period 3

I know it's the beginning of school and all, and human kids are normally all tired and slow at this point, but something feels off about Mike and Tyler. They wont talk to each other. Tyler will grab any chance he gets to sit next to this kid named Kyle, and Mike spends his time with this kid named Jeremy. What gives? I'll ask them at lunch to sit with me. They're my only friends right now, so I really hope they do.

Mrs. Overland

Period 3

I didn't get to eat with them at lunch. Well, I sat with Mike and Jeremy for a little bit, but then Jeremy left to go to the office and Mike got all nervous and followed him. I couldn't find Tyler at lunch, so I sat back down by myself. I was invited to a table by that kid, Ender. They were real nice to me. I guess I have more friends now. I do like having people to talk to and sit with when i'm being ignored.

On top of all that, I have a test tomorrow in Mr. Frosten's class. He teaches science. We're learning about organisms. My other teachers are alright. I have Ms. Elizabeth for Math, Mr. Kirkland for History, and Mr. Auditore for Latin. And then there is Mrs. Hamilton, who teaches art. She hangs up our drawings on the wall, and some of the kids in our class are really good. I saw Jeremy's drawings and he drew some girl with long blonde pigtails in a sailor outfit. Kyle drew a dog.
