"Yesterday wasn't too bad. I think that I can make it this year" you smile to yourself as you walk to your locker.
"Hey, are you new here?" You tense up to hear a new voice, a male voice. You whip around and are shocked to come face-to-face with two gorgeous blue eyes. You've never met him before and he's talking to you.
Good job genius, you don't talk to anyone remember? So of course you don't know him!
Yea, but why is he talking to me??
I don't know, but instead of standing here like a dead fish maybe try answering??
"um...are you okay?? " his voice snaps you out of arguing with yourself. "sorry!! Yea, I'm fine. Why are you talking to me?"
Wow, real smooth
He laughs slightly, more nervous, maybe scared. "I don't know honestly. You just...looked lonely I guess" he shrugs while looking down.
His hair is jet black and the perfect length. You know what I'm talking about; short on the sides and long on the top. The kind you would run your hands through?
Woah, woah, woah honey. You don't have a chance. Let's get back to reality here.
"So..." He says anxiously while running his hands through his hair. "My names Isabella...if you were wondering" might as well get it out of the way before you embarrass yourself. "Isabella. Hmm, sounds like royalty" he laughs to himself, "I'm Jerek. I haven't seen you around, so I thought I'd say hi" awe how cute, a guy who cares.
"Well thanks for that. Yea, I am new I just moved scho..."
" NEWBIE! Come on, we gotta get to football practice" Teagan runs up and puts an arm around Jerek. Teagan looks at you finally and makes a disgusted face. " hey freak, trying to make new friends??" He spats, not even looking at you. "C'mon teag, cut some slack, it's the first week. Give her a chance to get settled in the new school"
Teag? They must already be acquainted with each other if they are already on nickname level. "She's not the type of person you want to be seen with. She's garbage here" he says while giving you a menacing look. "Hey, I got to go, see you around" Jerek manages to get out before Teagan pushes him towards the other football players.
"You won't be seeing him...freak" Teagan states while pushing you into a locker and walking away.
Well, there goes your chance with blue eyes.
