I got into my car, which was a simple black truck, I wasn't into cars that much, but ever since I was little, I've always wanted a truck.

I started the engine and backed out of the parking lot of the school, heading in the direction of Maggie's house.

Our parent's knew each other well, so they didn't really care if I came over, or if she decided to come to my house.

I parked in her driveway, got out and just walked through the door, we do that all the time to each other.

We've known each other since the sixth grade.

"Supppp, bitch!" I laughed as she ran down the stairs.

I closed the maroon colored door behind me and hugged her, even though we saw each other a couple of hours ago.

"Your parent's car wasn't in the driveway, they ain't home?" I pointed with my thumb to the door.

"Uh, yeah," she began, rubbing the back of her neck with her right hand, "they're getting a divorce.. meeting with the court people, or whatever."

"Oh. Sorry to hear." I said, awkwardly and she walked up the black stairs, me following behind to her room.

I sat down on her red bed with a dark grey comforter.

"So, about- earlier," I said, a little bit confused on how the 'pretending to be a senior' plan would even work, "how can I even act like one? I can't just move up a grade into his classes.."

"Well, I mean, maybe you can switch out of third period, calculus, because didn't you take calculus last year?"

"Yeah but the only way I could get into a higher math class would be if I ate lunch with the seniors and then went to--" I began to realize what she meant, "ohhh!!!! I get it now!"

"Finally, you dipshit." She groaned, followed with a slight chuckle.

"Okay, so you can go to the guidance counselor and change your schedule tomorrow, and by Monday, you can walk into 12th grade lunch and pretend you can't find a seat," I nodded along, understanding and analysing everything she was saying, "go to Jack's table and ask if you could sit there!"

"And if it doesn't work, you can come sit with me, your amazing assistant head cheerleader." She laughed.

"But doesn't Alli sit at your table?"

"Yeah, but on the other side, so it doesn't matter."

"Got it.." I replied.
