A Demon Baby

~Aiza's POV~

A few weeks ago, Meguru gave me the best birthday present, ever. He took me to a fancy restaurant, then we went on a walk under the stars, and he proposed to me. I know it's cheesy, but it's also extremely sweet. He made my 26th birthday worth remembering.

You can guess what happened later that night.

Now, two weeks later, Meguru is leaving to train so he can be a full-fledged demon. I give him a hug and kiss goodbye, then go to the kitchen. Lately I have been hungrier.

I make some eggs and toast. Halfway through eating, I start to feel sick. I run to the bathroom, and throw up everything I had eaten. Bad eggs probably.

The same thing keeps happening, no matter what I eat for the next few days. The others started to notice, including Lori at work. She is always holding my messily layered red-brown hair back, making sure it doesn't get caught on my piercings.

After a few days, she finally convinced me to go see a doctor.

"Aiza Kuroki?"

I follow the nurse that called my name, then sit waiting for the doctor. When he does come, he does an ultrasound.

"Ms. Kuroki? You are pregnant."

My face holds a shocked expression, although I should have seen it happening. All the signs were there.

"Thank you."

I walk out, and head back to the demon house.

Once I get back, everyone but Shiki and Meguru is sitting on the couch, talking.

"Oh hey Aiza, you okay?" Haruhito questions.

"Yeah, what's with the face?" Satoru says.

Kakeru stays silent, not another question needing to be asked.

"I- I'm pregnant. I'm pregnant with a demon's baby and I have no clue if anything strange will happen because I'm human."

"I understand your worry, but you should be happy! You and Meguru are starting a family!"

Kakeru tried to be enthusiastic, hoping to help cheer me up.

"Meguru is still training, but I feel he is almost done. When he finds out about this, he may be motivated to train harder and come home sooner."

"Haru, I hope that helps, but how will he find out?"

"I have to go check up on his training tomorrow. I will tell him."

"Thank you Kakeru. I will be in my room. I'm quite tired."

I walked upstairs, and into my room. As soon as I layed down, I fell asleep.

~Time skip~

It has been a month since Kakeru told Meguru, and he still isn't back. I find that I look 3 months pregnant, instead of 1. Maybe demon babies need less time in the womb?

I have been the same as I normally would be, except for the giant stomach.

~Another time skip~

Two months. Meguru still isn't back, and I miss him. My stomach has grown even bigger, as if it has been six months. I've stopped working, and spend most of my time at the demon house.

Please come home soon Meguru...

~Yet another time skip~

Three months. I'm on the couch, watching tele, when I hear the door open. I look to see who it is, and see Meguru, but he looks different. More mature, and for sure sexier.

I walk over to him, and give him a kiss. I break it off, screaming in pain, going into labor. My breathing gets heavy, and I black out.

~Meguru's POV~

I kiss Aiza, when she suddenly starts screaming in pain, breathing heavy, then passes out.

"GUYS! GET AIZA TO THE DEMON REALM DOCTORS NOW!"

They come running, and help me get her to the demon realm. The doctors there can help, they have to. I can't loose her...

Once we get there, I burst in, and they take her into the O.R.

A doctor comes out, and I jump up.

"She is getting weaker. The child is okay, but her vitals are dropping. She would need to be converted to live, and that only has a small chance of working."

"Let me try then! I will do anything to help her live!"

I start to run to where she is, determination clear on my face. She will live, I won't let her die.

I start to give her demon essence. She has to live. I can't be without her. Please Aiza...

I back away, and sit beside her, holding her hand. At first, her vitals didn't change, but not long after, they start to go up, and her eyes flutter open.

The rest, is just fluffy romantic stuff, and history.

TADA! I have now finally written a small TDWMD thing! I guess once I write Meguru's route in my other TDWMD book, this could be a sub story to it, but I did this for @TheLonelyDemon. They came up with this idea, and it is honestly genius. I am glad that I was asked to write this.
