Sitting parallel to her massive dell computer for what will most likely be the last time ever she sighed, the plane left in three hours and they where to leave in an hour and a half.

She was beginning to wonder why she was going alone with it, there was no way she would be able to put up more than five minutes let alone a whole month.

Her phone sat in her hands, she had just sent a message to Jack, the one who had kept her sane after all of this. He would be the only one she would somewhat miss.

jack; ill miss you state :'(

10.42am; please tell me why you call me that

jack; your name is a state in the us...

10.45am; oh, i'll miss you too loser :P

jack; look out your window ;)

Standing up she walked over to the window to see Jack climbing up, "how.. how do you do this?" He panted as he made his way through. Flopping back on her bed.

She had decided to leave all her decor and just start new in London, of course with her starting new her room was bound to be completely white and black.

"Now I came up here for a hug even though I know you hate them.." He mumbled into her shoulder, catching her off guard with the hug.

She sighed, why did everything bad have to happen to her? "I'll miss you so much Jack," she mumbled into his shoulder, wrapping her arms around the lanky boys body.

She would honestly miss every thing about South Africa.. Well everything except for Glen but he was just a defect in her life. Letting go of the hug she kissed his cheek, him walking back towards the window, "just.. text me okay?" He asked.

"Of course Jack, bye," she smiled sadly, "I'll see you soon," he smiled and leaned over to press his lips against hers, "I've always wanted to do that," he blushed at her before jumping down, leaving her to wonder if she ever would see the boy again.

Thinking about everything she had here made her not want to leave even more, Jack, her Jeep, the secret spot, the convince store and the things in London where her brother, she had to continue to remind herself she wanted a better life.

A life where she could pretend nothing was wrong instead of trying to but failing due to the fact everyone already knew. She hated the small town for that.

A knock on her door drew her from thoughts, "yes?" She called out to the person behind the door, it opened a tiny crack to reveal her mother, "are you all ready?" She smiled towards her daughter softly.

"Yes mum, now leave me alone," she sighed, suddenly annoyed at the thought of leaving her home town, "it's for the best-" Her mother was cut off, "don't even bother trying that anymore, Genevieve you are going to London!" Glen shouted, placing his arms on her mothers shoulders.

"I know one thing I won't miss, that asshole behind you! He has ruined me and you and I'm not sure when you're going to notice it but I hope it's soon!" She shouted and slammed her door.

None of this was her choice and technically she could walk out of the house right now and never say another word to anyone. Maybe it was her love of travel or just wanting to go so she could annoy her brother but she wasn't leaving.

Pulling out her phone she played flappy bird, trying to block out the world. It worked for a while until she heard two more knocks of the door, "it's time to leave sweetheart," her mum's voice rang though her ears saying the words she somewhat dreaded.
