Dan's POV:Dyl was curled in a ball, hyperventilating. "Dyllie, it'll be okay," I whispered. She didn't seem to hear me, she just kept staring ahead. I looked at Phil, worried. "What are we going to do?" I asked.
Phil thought for a few seconds while stroking Dyllie's hair. "Wait!" He said, "Didn't Zoe leave some of her anxiety medication here just in case?" Oh my gosh, she did! Phil is a genius!
"Yeah, she did!" I exclaimed. "Can you go get it?"
"Yeah, of course!" He said, proudly. Aww, I love seeing him so proud of himself. The sparkle in his eyes was adorable.
He helped Dyl up and took her to the medicine cabinet. He put his arm around her and helped keep her steady. He will make a great dad one day. I wish we could just adopt Dyllie, but of course she's not an orphan. She has a family. I sighed.
"Okay. Advil, Aspirin, cough syrup, plaster casts, (Band-aids) antidepressants... Dan, you've been taking these, right?" He asked, concerned.
"Yes, Phil. Don't worry about me, worry about Dyl!" Her face was getting really pale. It was almost as pale as Phil's. She was still hyperventilating.
"Okay," he said quietly. "Here it is!" He said. After fumbling with the lid, he took one out and started to give it to Dyllie. "Here," he said softly, kneeling to her height, "It'll make you feel better," She weakly took it and before she could put it in her mouth, she passed out. The pill rolled out of her hand.
"Oh my god, Dyllie!" I yelled. Phil and I were beside her in seconds. "Fuck!" I yelled as we rolled her onto her back. She wasn't moving at all. Phil put his ear on her chest. He looked up at me with wide eyes.
"Dan, she's barely breathing." He said, tears forming in his eyes.
"What?!" I yelled. I put my ear against her chest. Her breathes were faint, slow, and struggled. I looked up at Phil, my vision blurred with tears. "Stay here. I'm calling the hospital." I said.
I ran and got the phone. It rang once, then a man answered. "Hello? This is St. Thomas' Hospital. What's the emergency?"
"D-Dyl... She's... She isn't..." I sobbed.
"Sir, I going to need you to calm down. Now, what happened to... 'Dyl'?" he asked.
I took a deep breath. "Dylan was having a panic attack and she fainted. We felt her chest and she was barely breathing," I said, sniffling.
"Okay, what's your address?" He asked and I told him. "We're sending paramedics there now. Do you know CPR?" He asked.
"No," I answered. I sat beside Dyllie. Phil was holding her hand with one hand and running his other hand through her hair. His sleeve was wet from wiping his tears. Seeing him like this was almost as hard as seeing Dyl like that.
I put the man on speaker and he explained how to do hands-only CPR. I did it on Dyl, and I could hear her breath a little more. I was actually kind of good at it.
"Dan..." Phil whimpered, his voice cracking.
"Yeah, Phil," I said, still giving Dyl CPR.
