The Unexplained

Introduction

I was only 12 when everything changed forever. All I remember is waking up with my ears ringing and my heart pounding. A tipped over school bus lay next to me. I had no idea who I was and what had happened. I stared up at the grey sky as it slowly started raining, leaving small water drops on my face. As my vision fully cleared I noticed a man, well not a man exactly, more like a humanoid figure with glowing red eyes walking across the field towards me. It's clothes were tattered and cut, yet it was not bleeding at all. A boy who looked about the same age as me scrambled out of the broken school bus window. He saw what was going on an suddenly turned pale. I had no memory of this boy, he had green eyes and brown curly hair. He saw the humanoid figure and started yelling, "run, run!".  The humanoid creature bellowed, "silence, Robbie Watson, this does not involve you". The figure opened up his hand and shot a purple plasma ball out of his palm. The plasma ball hit Robbie square in the chest, and Robbie fell to the ground knocked out cold. The figure was suddenly right above me, it picked me up by the scruff of the neck and held me in the air. "Jake Turner, you're coming with me".
