Prompt : The one where Zayn becomes Liam's rebound, but he doesn't know about that until he overhears Liam talking about it with his ex-girlfiend. :)

"So... this is it?"

Danielle looked up at Liam and smiled sadly as she nodded. She sighed, "Yeah."

" Still friends?" Liam asked as he looked up at his now ex-girlfriend. Danielle looked at Liam like he had grown two heads,

"Of course Li. Even though we are no longer together, doesn't mean that we cannot be friends, Liam."

Liam chuckled, "Yeah, I guess you're right."

They talked for a little more before they went off to their own ways.

After the break up, Liam was not the Liam everyone know. He is not the old Liam who was always cheerful and scolding the boys off when the were in their bad behaviour. He was not the old Liam who held the title as 'Daddy Direction'. No, he is not all of that. Instead, Liam is the new Liam who was always mopping around, he is the new Liam that always locked himself in his room and just be miserable, he is the new Liam that always seems to have a frown on his feature, he is the new Liam that always have this pout tugging on his mouth and even though the boys love to see that adorable pout that Liam have, they didn't like it when he was sad.

They know it was probably crazy and not making sense but they kind of missing Liam's scolding. They all know that Liam care about them and that's why he scolded them when they was not on their best behaviour. Every single of them despise it when Liam is sad. They all know about the breakup since Liam walked through the door a week ago, crying and mumbling about the break up.

For the past few days, the boys tried everything to cheer Liam up and only Zayn managed to get a response from Liam. He tried everything to make Liam happy and he thought that maybe when he cried, that was the last straw. Since Zayn is a quiet lad, he is also the sensitive one. Zayn and Liam are always attached on hips since they were put into a band. Zayn let out all his frustration out through his tears and he was disappointed of himself when he couldn't cheer Liam up. He was crying in his room and apparently Liam was walking passed by Zayn's room when he heard Zayn's cries.

Liam knew that he had make his bestfriend cry and feel guilty about it so he went into Zayn's room and comforted Zayn. He pulled Zayn onto his lap and wrapped his arms around the raven haired boy's small body tightly, letting the Pakistani boy cried into his chest as he whispered sweet notings to Zayn's ear.

When the Pakistani boy stopped crying, he still sniffled into Liam's chest and whimpered when Liam was going to leave him. Liam was surprised when he realised how right it is to have Zayn in his arms, how Zayn fits perfectly in his. Laim was scared by all of this since he didn't want to be gay. He didn't know if he will be accepted because he is gay. His famoly never give a thought towards the LGBT community so Liam is a bit clueless.

He was more shocked when the management called him up the next week after the break up and told Liam and Zayn to come to their office. The management decided to hold a meeting with Zayn and Liam. Since Liam's popularity is decreased because of his break up with Danielle, the management decided to do some public stunt.

Apparently, they wanted Ziam to happen since there were so many Ziam shipper out there. The management decided that maybe, with this way, Liam's popularity will be increasing so that he can make more money for the management. Zayn and Liam agreed and signed the contract. No one except for the boys and their families should know about this. They have to keep it as a secret and make it look like they were in love with each other.
