Genetic Engineers

Wake up and smell the roses,

Take a walk outside.

Because one day, they won't be there,

Everything will die.

There won't be a natural,

Only chemicals and lies.

Life will be artificiality,

Without nature or individuality.

Our DNA will be modified,

With nothing left inside.

Our days will all be faded,

The wilderness over-rated.

Our genes will be manipulated,

Everything is genetically engineered.

Just stop, and look in the mirror,

Can you see inside?

Because everyone looks like you.

Who are you?

What am I?

Are we objects, or just clones multiplied.

Life will be artificiality,

Without nature or individuality.

Our DNA will be modified,

With nothing left inside.

Our days will all be faded,

The wilderness over-rated.

Our genes will be manipulated,

Everything is genetically engineered.

Whose fault is it?

Whose fault is it?

Is it worth it?

Is it right or wrong?

Will we make it?

Will we make it?

Can we fight it?

Or was this the plan after all?

Who can we thank?

The genetic engineers.
