Today's Saturday, I woke up crabby and sad. I also woke up at 10:30 so that's new... I skipped my shower and put on my pink flowy top with some jean shorts. (In cover pic) I walked downstairs still half asleep I swear nobody better talk to me. But to top that off when I got downstairs I saw Nate. He was gone for a long time, so this was great. He said "What's up Nicole?" I just looked up at him and then he was hugging me, "I haven't seen you in such a long time!" I tried to act like I cared but actually I didn't, mmhm I mumbled, then I heard Hannah say "Wow! Your up early!" Nate turned around and hugged her. They both said they loved each other and missed each other. I was in tears, I held it back and got angry instead. Stupid people loving each other, what is love? I loved lots of people, two in particular the most but they're dead! I just stormed out screw this! I opened the sliding glass door and slammed it shut, hearing Hannah say "Where are you going?" Ignoring her I kept walking. I went to my spot and sat there really pissed but also really sad. But being mad made the sadness go away so I just sat there mad! I was in in my own world when a voice said "Don't you have school?" It was Nick. I thought I would give him a chance "It's complicated" I said to him. He just gave me a weird look so I said "I take school online sort of" "Then why aren't you doing it?" He asked. "I do it at night." We just kept talking, but when he said tell me about myself I froze. I could just say I have to go, and walk away its nine of his business! But this is my spot I don't want to leave. "What do you want to know?" I asked. " Well do you live around here?"
"I live behind those woods" I said.
"what's your name" he asked.
All this time went by talking to him and I forgot to tell him my name!
"It's Nicole" I said
"Well nice to meet you Nicole" he said with a grin.
I just grinned back. ( I know Nick moved in with James but I'm going to have it him living with Rudan still in Texas)
"Nick you ready?" I looked up and saw Rudan calling Nick.
"I got to go but I'll talk to you later, bye Nicole" he smiled showing his dimples.
I just smiled and waved.
About an hour later I was getting hot sitting in the sun so I went back home. Hannah was in the Kitchen reading a cook book and taking out ingredients. I just went and sat on a stool.
"Hey Nicole, I'm about to run to the store to get some ingredients for tonight. Wanna come?"
"Yea, sure. What's going on tonight?" I asked
"Oh Nate came home and some of our friends are coming over"
"Ok let me go get my purse" I said walking up stairs
Hannah and I pulled up to target and we walked in together. First we headed to the sauce aisle and grabbed a few things, I asked Hannah if I could go grab a few things for me and she said I could so I went to go look at the movies. I looked at the new releases and saw the The Longest Ride and remembered I saw this movie with my best friends Lori and Bri. I missed them so much! While grabbing the movie off the shelf I saw Nick "Shit!" He didn't see me thank god I just quickly paid and went to find Hannah.
When I found her she said that she needed a few more things and she will be done in 15 minutes but I didn't want to wait. She gave me her keys and I went to sit in the car, I was jamming out to country and pop music and getting strange looks from people but didn't care, music was the only thing that made me happy. There was a knock on my window snapping me out of my thoughts. The window was down cause it was hella hot.
"Hey Nicole!" Nick said
"Wha- wher-" "What do you want?" I said annoyed
"I'm just saying hi" he said putting his hands up
"Hi" I said turning the music down
Right when he was about to say something I heard Hannah say "Nicole will you pop the tru-" she stopped seeing Nick. "Hi I'm Nick!" Nick said while going to shake her hand. I just got wide eyed and sunk down in my seat. "Hi I'm Hannah! Nicole's Aunt!" "Nice to meet you Nick!" She said happily "You too!" Nick said " Well I got to go, See you later Nicole! Bye Hannah Nice meeting you!" He said turning and walking away.
Hannah finished putting her stuff in the car and I turned up the radio singing along to Love me like you mean it by Kelsea Ballerini. Hannah got in and turned it down.
"Well, who is that?" She asked
"Nobody" I answered
"Well nobody is cute" she smiled
"He's 20" I said taunting her
"Alright" she said and drove away
