- Prologue: Way Too Many Times. -
She felt like this has happened too many times. Her "disability" as her Mum called, pushed her to the floor. She fell on her knees, clutching her head. Wolves, too many of them began to diminish her thoughts.
They ran around her mind, barking and growling. It was too familiar, but it came as a shock to her every-time. They played, they cried, they mated. They surrounded her as she fell in the middle, seeming to lay around her. She felt oddly connected, watching the different colored wolves interact around each-other.
The last wolf. She knew the pain in her mind would stop once she saw the last wolf. The russet brown wolf with liquid green eyes, sitting upon the large rock, staring right at her.
Her vision soon came back to reality, though the wolves hadn't ceased in her ears, ringing her mind with their sound. The hallways seemed to crowd around her, a few people nudging her to stand up. She moaned, shutting her eyes tight as she felt something on her back burn.
A few seconds later, the wolves ceased. Her breath heavy, she weakly opened her eyes and placed her hands in front of her. Murmurs surrounded her, making her flush in embarrassment. She was escorted the nurses' office, the voices whispering around her.
