There will come a day. A day that will be known to all Underlings for the rest of time. A day the queen of all queens will be put on the throne. She will be powerful, kind, and as beautiful as the first rain fall. Her king will be strong, courageous, and fearless. He will go through hell for the hand of his queen, and she will love him for it. Sparks will ignite with the love they share.

These two will be completely inseparable, and will only find ease in each others arms. The definition of true love these two will be. Their strength, their irrevocable love, will give everyone hope, as they pull The Underground out of the age of darkness, and into the purest light...

I peel my eyes open, blinking a few times to adjust to the bright lights just outside the car windshield. "What the heck?" I ask, my voice muffled by sleep. The lights in front of me appear to abnormally bright, I am afraid if I stare into them too long I will end up in a hypnotic state, or blind.

"Right, sorry." Keeyan laughs as I bury my face in his shoulder. "What the heck is that Keeyan?" I ask, groaning. "The hallway of lights." He says, smiling down at me.

"The what?" I ask, my sleep addled mind having issues boarding his current train of thought. "It is the entrance to The Underground. Open your eyes, you won't want to miss this." He assures, nudging me gently with his shoulder.

I open my eyes out of curiosity, allowing them to adjust to the light. It seems that we are at the mouth of a rather large cave. It seemed to be illuminated from the inside, giving it a glowing gold appearance.

"Wait." I say, causing both boys to turn and look at me carefully. "What?" Emery asks, chuckling after a few minutes of silence.

"These lights are hypnotic! How has no one found this place yet?" I ask, turning to look at Emery. "Well, these lights contain a substance called jinosax. Humans are allergic to it, when they try to enter the cave they swell up and can't breathe." He explains, causing me to nod.

"They can't see either, they go blind. Our eyes are less sensitive than there's are." Keeyan adds, causing me to nod. "Is that why I can read in the dark and no one else can?" I ask, connecting the dots. Keeyan laughs, nodding. "Probably." He shrugs.

"It's so beautiful." I say, causing Keeyan to smile. "This is only the entrance, Emery, drive in." He says, turning his attention to his best friend behind the wheel by the end of the sentence. Emery nods, shifting his attention back to the wheel.

As the car starts to approach the bright lights I can't help but gasp. The lights aren't coming from lamps, which my stupid human-conditioned brain assumed. No, these lights are being emitted from small colour changing rocks just inside the mouth of the cave.

"How is that possible?" I ask, causing Emery to  stop the car. "Science." He says, his tone showing fake amazement as he wiggles his fingers. I giggle, shaking my head at him. "No, seriously. That is so beautiful, how is it possible?" I ask, my gaze glued to the small rocks.

"They're charmed." Keeyan answers simply. I laugh to myself, wondering why that wasn't my first guess. "Wait, does that mean jinosax is an element in magic?" I ask, causing both boys to nod.

"That means humans are allergic to magic!" I say, continuing to laugh to myself. "I have to say, I have never thought about it like that." Emery says, continuing to drive into the tunnel.

As we progress further into the tunnel I notice that this entire place must be illuminated with these small rocks. How long do they last for? They must be powerful, would they be hot to the touch?
