I blink my eyes open, taking in my surroundings. The room I'm in is dark, the walls painted a dark charcoal grey. Funny, I swear almost everything in this room is the same colour as my eyes. Must be an odd coincidence, at least I know he likes my eyes.

I look around and smile at the furniture. It wasn't a typical teenage boy's bedroom. No, that was for sure. The room had built in book shelves that were stacked with books. From here I could see some of the familiar titles, they were books I loved too.

He had To Kill A Mocking Bird, Shakespeare's Macbeth, and even some modern books like The Hunger Games, and Maze Runner.

He also had framed photos littered across the walls. They appeared to be of his family. I instantly recognized his mom from earlier. The man kissing her cheek must have been his dad. He looked exactly like Keeyan. Same brown hair, although his was now beginning to grey, and the same amber eyes.

Beside Keeyan stood an absolutely breath taking girl. Her long brown curls mirrored those of her a model, her ice blue eyes were what stuck out most to me though. She was so beautiful, who was she?

Keeyan never mentioned to me about having a girlfriend. You think that would be an important thing to bring up, especially before you let someone sleep in your arms two night in a row!

I gaze up onto Keeyan's face and see that he is smiling, his lips in a pout while he sleeps. "You're just full of all kinds of secrets, aren't you?" I ask, shaking my head.

I carefully slip out of his arms, replacing my small frame with a pillow. I can tell he still notices though, instantly frowning at the loss of contact.

"Don't play all sad with me." I whisper, shaking my head. "You are the one keeping secrets. So many secrets, Keeyan." I insist, making my way to the door before slipping out.

I close the door again, walking up the stairs. I have no idea where I am going, I know absolutely no one in this entire place.

"Oh, hello." A female voice says, causing me to look up. Just my luck, right in front of me stood the beautiful girl from the picture.

"My name is Ivy." She smiles, offering me her hand. I shoot her a small smile in return, shaking her hand.

"You must be Queen Aurora, it is an honour to meet you your highness." She says, her tone tainted with excitement. "You can just call me Aurora." I insist, not meeting her gaze.

"Keeyan has told me a lot about you." She informs, causing my eyes to widen. "Well, not exactly." He laughs. "I can read minds." She explains, causing me to nod.

"Well, dad wants to see you upstairs." She says, looking at me oddly. I nod, edging my way up the rest of the staircase.

I didn't know how to navigate this house. Heck, last time I had been through here I was completely comatose. Where was I supposed to go in the first place?

"Queen Aurora, over here." A man says, causing me to turn. "My word, you look exactly like your mother." He says, his mouth wide open. "Thank you, you can just call me Aurora." I say, shooting him a smile.

"Well, it is an honour to meet you." He insists, bowing. This is going to take some getting used to, that is for sure.

"I want to take you to the palace, begin to prepare you for your coronation." He says, causing my eyes to widen.

"I don't mean to rush things, when ever you're ready. I just want to show you the palace." He corrects, causing me to nod. "That should be fine." I say, shooting him a smile.

"Alright. I know you passed out earlier, are you okay if we walk there?" He asks, causing me to nod. "Yeah, of course." I smile, following Keeyan's dad out the door.
