chapter 6 (What The Hell!)

Dinah's P.O.V

Last night I ended up falling asleep after everyone and I wanted to cuddle Y/n but Normani was all over her. Like damn can the girl breath!?

So I "accidentally" pushed Normani to the foot of the bed and snuggled up with Y/n. Y/n subconsciously put her arms around me. 'Y/n is so comfortable. Now I see why Normani is always on her, that's changing' I thought before drifting off.

***the next morning***

When I woke up Y/n was gone and so was Normani. I have to admit I was a little sad that Y/n wasn't here when I woke up. I stretched and went down stairs. I walked in the kitchen and saw Normani and Y/n hugging. That bothered me, it bothered me a lot.

"hey Rossy" Y/n said picking up a little boy that ran past me to her.

"oh hey sleepy head" she smiled at me. I was upset with her but damn her smile.

"hey" I gave a soft smile.

"hey D, Camila said did you want to go to the movies with her and Austin" Normani asked.

"I don't know. I gotta think about it"

"Ooo can I come?" Y/n said.

"you don't even know what we're seeing" Mani giggled. I saw Y/n smile at her. 'oh no that's not going to happen she's mine'.

"why can't I just go for the company?" Y/n quirked an eyebrow smirking and Normani blushed and was about to talk but I intervened.

"hey Mani I need to talk to you" I said dragging her out of the kitchen. It wasn't a total lie- I did need to talk to her about something important.

"what's up?" Mani said sitting in on the living room couch.

"I'm nervous about moving in" I half lied.

"why?"

"because of my you know what. What if she finds out. She might think I'm weird and treat me different. Like my ex-" Normani cut me off.

"Y/n is not like Kaitlin okay. Give her a chance. Besides you two aren't even dating, so chill and give her a chance" I nodded.

"you said that twice" I commented.

"that because it's true. Now stop worrying about it and come to the movies with your besties" she said tapping my shoulder and walking into the kitchen.

"so what do you want for breakfast?" Y/n asked.

"do you have fruity pebbles?" I asked and Normani giggled and so did Y/n. I wore a confused look I didn't see what was funny.

"I guess I'm not the only one" Y/n said sticking her tongue out at Normani.

"what the hell is going on?" I asked.

"I asked Y/n what she wanted to eat when she was at my house and she said 'fruity pebbles' so I told her she eats gay" Normani said and I giggled at first because that sounds like something Normani would say. But the fact that Y/n stayed the night at her house upsets me.

"oh Dinah, Y/n use to run track just like you" Mani decided to fill me in on this random fact.

"really?" I asked.

"yeah" Y/n said.

"I bet I could beat you" I challenged.

"I'll take that bet" she said smirking at me. Her smirk is smexy.
