Eating Disorder

Prompt: Val finds out Jenna has an eating disorder an he tries to help her.

Jenna POV

Val and I are eating dinner at my house and I get up.

"I'll be right back, I'm just going to use the bathroom." I start to walk away when Val grabs my arm.

"Babe, you do this every day whenever you eat something. I'm starting to get concerned Jen. Is everything okay?" Val seems really concerned. I don't know whether I should tell him about this or not. I'm apparently thinking too long because Val starts to talk again.

"Jenna, please. I know something's wrong, please tell me what it is." Well, I guess I should tell him, I nean he is my boyfriend after all.

I sit down, "Val... I don't know how to say this but, I-I have an... eating disorder." I whisper the last part so he can't hear it that well.

"Babe, speak up, I can't hear what you said."

"I have an eating disorder." I blurt out. Immedietly after I say this I cover mouth. Val gets up and walks over to me. He wraps his arms around me and kisses my cheek, I can tell that's he's upset by this.

"Why Jenna? You're perfect, why do this to yourself?" I start to cry when I hear this.

"You really think I am?" I say quietly.

"Yes Jenna, I really do and I wanna help you through this."

"Thank you Valentin, you're the perfect one." I hug him and for the first time in a while, i finish my dinner and eat dessert too without having to go and puke afterwords.
