I must have fallen asleep, because I woke up in cold sweat and a little bit of blood. Where was I? Was I dead? I looked at my hands, only to find out my fingers were gone. I almost fainted. Instead of normal hands, they were just....blocks. Kind of like the rest of the world I was in. Speaking of which, I was in a field, with dandelions and a few oak and birch trees. It looked like the ideal world I always dreamed about. I was in Minecraftia.
It was getting late. I went over to the trees and proceeded to cut them down. I freaked out again when I found out how much wood I was carrying in one hand: 64 logs. I was ridiculously strong! Anyway, I put together a small box that I could stay in for the time being. I'd add rooms and stuff later. I just needed to lay down and wrap my mind around what happened. I tried laying down in my bed, but for some reason, I heard a whisper telling me that I couldn't rest now, as there were monsters nearby.
Monsters? That didn't make sense. It was supposed to be a peaceful utopia. I guess not though. I had the supplies to make a sword with an iron blade and an iron helmet, as well as a green leather tunic. I armed myself and went outside. It wasn't such a good idea.
I spent most of my time hiding behind trees and decapitating zombies. That wasn't too fun. I also managed to kill a skeleton. I picked up it's bow and arrows, while picking off bones from it in the process. I shot a green squid-looking creature (which I called Creepers, because, well, they're creepy) and watched it explode. Another one came out from behind it, and right as it was about to explode, it got hit in the back of the head with an arrow. That was odd, considering I wasn't using my bow.
It turns out, it was a skeleton that killed it. As the Creeper lay dead, a CD lied on the ground next to it. It was heavily scratched, and it had a black ring around it. I felt it would be important later, for some reason, so I picked it up and put it in my inventory. The sun was starting to come up, and I was wandering around for a bit, until I saw another human. She was screaming and running from a burning zombie.
I ran over to her, killed the zombie, and helped her up. She seemed about my age. She had strawberry blonde hair and a bright green coat, as well as brown leggings and tall, black boots.
"Are you okay? What happened" I asked her.
"I woke up in this strange place yesterday" she said. "I didn't know what to do. I feel so helpless. I'm Alex, by the way."
"You can stay at my house until you feel better, Alex. I'm Steve."
Alex hugged me, and asked me where my house was. I thought I never left the vicinity of my house, but I was wrong. I was lost. I started heading west with Alex behind me. A friendship was made.
