Mabel sighed, listening to her music as she waited for Pacifica to buy her clothes. It was only a week until some dance the principal started since other schools had dances. Mabel groaned "hurry up, you got your dress yet? No need to buy me one, I'm not going" Pacifica stopped and stared at her best friend "not going?!" She scoffed. "You have to! It's your only chance to actually go to a dance! A formal!" She said.
Mabel shrugged "not in the mood" she said
"You're going and that's- oh hey bill!" Pacifica said smiling.
Bill grinned at Mabel "hey blonde, hey Mabel" bill said, looking at Mabel. "What is it?" Mabel asked.
Then that question came up that made Mabel's heart drop
And a few broken hearts from the girl at their school.
"Mabel, will you go to the dance with me as my date?"
He asked
