Chapter 13: The Everglades of Darkness

Opening his almost sealed-shut eyes, Xavier stood up and realised he was in a dark land. Everything was pitch black in colour. He was the only one glowing. Even thought there were flames, no light was produces from them. The trees were arching down, bending and seeming like they were about to snap off. It gave of an eerie atmosphere and a creepy sense of uncomfort.
Making his way through the cold, windy, dark place, he trembled in utter fear. His arms were paralyzed and felt like pins and needles.
Taking one more step, he stopped. He sensed something about to happen. Just as Xavier wanted to run away, toxicating flames engulfed the poor warrior. With one last slice of his sword, he summoned a dragon with his last breath. Little did he know that would make it worse.
           The dragon flew up to the source of all this madness. Attacking the orb of energy controlling all of these flames, it got absorbed into it. The whole flame began glowing. It pulsiated into intertwining chains of magic. Chains flew out from cracks that appeared in the ground. It wrapped up the orb. It was then the whole pillar of fire shone even brighter. The flames were beginning to sting. Still petrified and unable to move, Xavier stood on his feet, rooted to the ground as if he was a statue. The fire burned so brightly that even bats would get blinded.
          It was then Xavier felt his legs lift off the ground. The flames suddenly turned a greyish, blackish colour. Once they lowered down, a chained cage appeared, confining Xavier into place. His dragon was right there, green and emulsing a green glow. He was a dark blue dragon, with flaming wings and green claws and horned. Its eyes were red in colour and it guarded the cage. It was then something appeared.
         Hades flew out of the pure, flames of green.
         "You are now trapped! MUAHAHAAH! Good luck on getting out now! The cage is made of pure obsidion. Now, now. Don't feel sad. I am sure your itty bitty friends will come help you. Hehe!" He said with a smirk.
        "Shut the hell up." Xavier said.
        "WHAT THE HECK DID YOU JUST SAY?! YOU WILL REGRET THAT DECSISION UNWISE ONE!!!!!"
        Flames rose again. They began burning Xavier. He could feel poison-like fluids was coursing through him. Weak and about to faint, he said.
       "My....friends.........will........"
       He fell on the ground with a loud thud. His eyes slammed shut. He has lost...
