Timmy's POV:
I leaned against the back of my seat looking out the window. The thought of leaving Jake and Phil for 2 months was killing me but I wasn't gonna let my parents in on that for a minute. I turned my music on full which I knew my mum would get annoyed by , she always has a go about how music has changed and "it's all noise to me" but I ignore her. You could clearly hear the music outside my earphones but no matter what my parents say, I'll use the excuse that they are shipping me off for the summer. That'll do it.The time passed slowly until I was stopped by mum trying to start a conversation when clearly I was busy.
"Timmy!" She exclaimed, a cheerful expression on her face. "Timmy." She said again. "TIMMY" suddenly her voice changed. I took out my headphones and yelled "YEAHHH?"
"Don't shout at me young man. You're father is trying to ask you something!"
Of course he was."Timmy.." Dad started "Are you looking forward to your time here at Chalstone?"
The sound of it gave me shivers.
"Sure." I replied in a sarcastic manner.
"No sarcasm in this car please Timmy." Mum said.
"Sure." I replied again.
Mum turned around and sighed. You could clearly see why Mum and Dad wanted me gone. But I didn't care about leaving them. That's great! It's the camp though. I've heard about it before. My friend Daniel told me horror stories about an instructor called Sergeant Pepper. More strict than our last year teacher Ms Morrissey! That's the part I'm NOT looking forward to.Suddenly the car screeched and stopped throwing my head forward. "Agh!" I exclaimed, my dad just mumbled and told me to stop complaining, as usual. I then saw my mums face by the window.
"Come on, unbuckle and get your case."
This was an easy chance as any.
"Nah I'm alright, I'll just stay in here."
I replied coolly.
But this time I realised mum wasn't having it.
She opened the door and her words cold as ever, "Get. Out. Now."
I wasn't arguing with that one.
