An angel?

(Niall's P.O.V)

I was so nervous for this date it was unreal. I was outside her door and i rang the bell. My palms were so sweaty that i had to rub them on my jeans. I don't really know why i was acting like this because i had taken plenty of girls out on dates before but Lucy she just seemed different than all the others. I just got this vibe from her that pulled me in like a magnet.

The door swung open and i saw her friend standing there with a big grin on her face. I swear i saw her eyes widen for a moment before she looked down at the floor.

"She will be down in five," She said with a warm smile and opened the door futher so that i could step into the house.

"Thanks..umm.."

"My names Bee," She let out a small laugh and i held out my hand to greet her but she pulled me into a hug.

"Im sorry, i just had to do that as you see i'm a massive fan and couldn't resist," She said confidently. I just smiled at her and nodded. Even though she had just said that she was a big fan i wasn't worried because i hoped that she would respect that i was interested in her friend Lucy not her. She was attractive i'll give her that but she was more of Harry's type than mine.

"Sorry i took so long Niall," I looked around Bee to see where that voice of an angel had come from. My jaw dropped and i tried to move my mouth so that i could speak but i just couldn't. Lucy looked completely flawless.

"You look stunning like an angel," I managed to stutter out. Words could not describe how gorgeous she looked tonight. I mean she looked beautiful all the time but tonight you could tell she had tried hard to please me. I was glad she had tried so hard for me, i got butterflies in my stomach from this. I realised that i had just been checking her out for the past minute and i looked up to see that she was blusking a deep shade of red.

"Sorry love, i don't mean to stare," I looked down at my shoes feeling my cheeks heat up. I looked back up to see that she had a tear roll down her cheek. Had i done something wrong?

"Was it something i said," She shook her head and looked away. I carefully took a few steps towards her.

"What was it then because im slightly confused," I said looking at her to see a smile appearing.

"Im not crying because im sad, im crying because no boy has ever really noticed me like you have before and its just so kind and sweet of you," She looked up at me whilst wiping her few tears away of her cheek.

"Well any boy would be stupid not to notice you as you are beautiful."

"Thank you Niall, im glad i agreed to this date," Her smile grew and she grabbed her bag of the kitchen table and waved at Bee.

"See you later Bee," She said whilst walking towards the door. Bee gave her a nod and quick wave before she disappeared off somewhere. I followed Lucy out and i opened the door for her. She whispered a thank you before i shut the door and jogged round to my side. I climbed in and turned on the engine. I turned around to look at her and she looked back at me.

"I want to take you somewhere nice and im really sorry if there are paps waiting but there shouldn't be, okay?" She looked unsure but nodded. I set off and the most of the car journey was filled with small talk. I knew that i was going to like Lucy. I just had this feeling.
