Ashton's Point Of View

"Remember to do the homework for next lesson." I reminded the class as they all groaned, picking up their bags before leaving the classroom. I sat back in my chair as I watched everyone leave. Luke was one of the last to leave, along with a brown haired boy with blonde highlights. They we're talking and Luke seemed happy but, he wasn't. His body language showed that he wasn't happy. His shoulders we slightly hunched and he had a fake smile. The kind of smile that's fine in the middle but droops down a little at the side. He turned to look at me before leaving and tried to smile more than he was before leaving.

I can't believe Luke is in my class. I can't believe he's in this school. I just don't know what to think. I thought I'd never see him again.

It had to be Luke in my class, didn't it? Why did it have to be Luke? It could've been anyone else.

Doesn't matter it's just a petty little crush. Or is it even a crush? I've only met the boy once.

There was a knock on the door snapping me out of my thoughts.

"Come in-" I yelled as the door opened, revealing a blonde-haired, blue-eyed walking through the door slowly.

"Uhh, hi-" Luke started, nervously "I, uhh, didn't get the homework sheet." He finished, biting his plump lip, which drives me crazy.

"I don't have a spare sheet so I'll write the task down for you." I lied as he nodded, looking down.

I actually did have spare homework sheets. I only wrote it down because I needed to tell him something but, I know very well that he wont talk to me to even listen so, maybe, if he reads the note he might have a change of heart. We need to speak. I handed him the piece of paper and he muttered a 'thank you' before he put it in his pocket and walked out of the room.

I really hope he comes.
