“Miss…?”
God, I was so confused. Had I really seen and talked to a Goddess-like woman? Or had I completely imagined it? If I had imagined it, well then, I needed serious medical help. But, then again, if I had imagined it, how did I get to the boarding gates so fast?
“Excuse me, Miss…”
Would I see that crazy woman again? Was she on this plane, like, right now? Or was she flittering about picking up other helpless passengers, who –
“Excuse me, MISS!”
I snapped out of my thoughts, to see a flight attendant glaring rather fiercely at me. “I’ve called you three times, young lady,” She warned firmly.
I chuckled nervously. “Oh, um…sorry. What is it?”
“Please use your seatbelts for the lift off,” She sighed, gesturing to my unbelted seatbelt. I quickly connected the belt together, and the hostess stalked off to harass some other poor soul.
Soon, everyone took their seats, and the plane took off smoothly. I didn’t feel like doing any reading, so I unzipped my bag and scooped up my iPod and earphones.
“This should pass the time nicely,” I mused to myself quietly, surfing through my songs, eventually choosing one. I sat back and closed my eyes, letting myself drift into the music.
This is how I show my love
I made it in my mind because
I blame it on my A.D.D. baby
This is how an angel dies
I blame it on my own sick pride
Blame it on my A.D.D. baby
Sail!
Sail!
Sail!
Sail!
Sail!
Maybe I should cry for help
Maybe I should kill myself (myself)
Blame it on my A.D.D. baby
Maybe I'm a different breed
Maybe I'm not listening
So blame it on my A.D.D. baby
Sail!
Sail!
Sail!
Sail!
Sail!
La la la la la
La la la la la oh!
La la la la la,
La la la la la oh!
La la la la la,
La la la la la,
Sail!
Sail!
Sail!
Sail!
Sail!
Sail with me into the dark
Sail!
