The other students started coming in soon afterwards, all thanking Harry for the favour. It bothered Harry that so many young people had died that day, how someone could be that cruel and want the death of hundreds of innocents. The groups went by in a haze, and so did the ghosts of their loved ones. One chirpy voice pulled him out of his daydreams though, "hello Harry."
"Hello Luna."
"Your head seems full of nargles today Harry." She gazed at him thoughtfully, a small smile playing on her lips.
"And you seem to have found your shoes." Harry smiled back, "where's your dad?"
"Something like this wouldn't agree with him I'm afraid." She brought Harry's attention back to the stone. He dropped it lightly in her hand, and a woman appeared some seconds later, "hello mama."
The woman with blonde frizzy curls smiled warmly, something Luna got from her, "Sweetie, how are you?"
"I'm okay, dad's tending to your garden regularly don't worry..." Luna paused, and her eyes became sorrowful for a moment, "we missed you."
"I know, I missed you too. But it's alright, we'll see either soon," Luna's mother nodded, "but hopefully not too soon."
"That's a promise." Luna made a cross over her heart.
"You be careful of those nargles now my sweet." And with that she was gone.
