Yudhi [# A Love Story - Completed]

Part 25

The after party for the outgoing students was being organized at one of the popular bar and restaurant in the city. There were three floors of food and entertainment.

As Arohi and gang entered the bar, they had difficulty adjusting their vision to low lighting and had to squeze their way to an empty table. All of them dropped their jackets and purses to attack the food and drink bar, but Yudhi stayed behind.

"Don't worry guys, I will stay here and keep an eye on your stuff, you guys go and break a leg." Yudhi said making himself comfortable in a chair.

"Oh! He is so sweet. " Karuna whispered into Arohi's ear.

"I know." Arohi replied, giving her a head over heels look.

Arohi grabbed two plates and piled them with different kinds of food and brought it back to the table, putting one in front of Yudhi.

When Yudhi looked at the amount of food on his plate, he gave her an amusing look.
"Better eat, it's going to be a long night." She replied.

Just then one of the waiters brought champagne and everyone grabbed a glass except for Yudhi and Jonas, Kim's boyfriend.

"Yudhi, go ahead and drink, I can drop you guys home. I am working later shift, so I cannot drink." Jonas suggested.

"No, I am good, I am going to enjoy the food." Yudhi then raised his water glass to cheer with others.

Arohi and her gang gulped the drinks and went in for another round.

Meanwhile the dance floor came alive with the DJ asking everyone to show up on the dance floor.

With alcohol in their blood stream and the heart throbbing drum beat sounds, the dance floor was in full swing. Arohi was excited and invited her friends to dance with her.

"Common girls, let us hit the dance floor."

Yudhi sat behind and watched Arohi and the girls dance to the billboard hit tunes.

After dancing for couple of songs the girls returned to their seats for more food and drink.

"Can I have a dance with you ?"

Everyone looked up shocked as Raj came and stretched his hand out to Arohi.

For a second Arohi was confused but recovered quickly and said "Sure Raj" and followed him to the dance floor.

Arohi didn't want to make Raj feel bad and thought this might help patch things with him and be friends.

Soon they hit the dance floor and Raj was trying to get closer to Arohi while dancing, and Arohi was trying to keep him at a safe distance. He tried once to hold her by her waist, but Arohi quickly turned around and moved away.

Meanwhile Yudhi was watching with his blood at boiling point. He wanted to go smack Raj so hard that he will never dance again.

He was surprised at his own feelings. Is he jealous or is he protecting Arohi, as she was little drunk ?

He never felt this jealous over anyone till now, this is the first time he was having these wild feelings, as it was happening in front of his eyes. Earlier he was able to walk away from the scene, but now he has the responsibility to protect her. He felt he was becoming too protective about Arohi and wanted her completely for himself.

Yudhi controlled his urge to go and smack Raj, as he didn't want to create a scene at Arohi's final out going college party and embarrass her. He kept a close watch on Raj's movements as he continued to dance with Arohi.
