I ran.

Just ran.

I just can't believe that she left me. She was the last person that I actually acknowledged and loved. Now she was gone.

As I made it to the village of Steepwood, I decided to start acting like the homeless girl I was. I sat on the pavement of the street and begged for food, money, anything that could keep me alive. Sooner or later I'll be out of my mind.

One week later...

I was siting on the pavement on the street when I saw a young adult around my age, walking towards me. Tall, golden brown skin with broad shoulders wearing one of those expensive clothing that only the royal kind would wear. Wait. That means he must be rich.

"Hey there, did you escape the orphanage? He said with a scowl. He seriously didn't know that I had quite an attitude.

"No... I'm just homeless." I didn't want to converse with Mr. Prince. It felt awkward knowing that I'm homeless in rags and this sexy man justs appears out of no where. I'm not even attractive.

"You wanna come with me?" He asks.

"Don't you think that I'm just one of those mad persons on the street as the rest of people in Steepwood does of me?"

"Well you don't seem mad to me... Besides, you aren't attacking me so I dont think so."

I reluctantly got up from the pavement. I didn't want to go with him. Though, something in my mind told me to trust him.
He took out his phone and called someone... I guess his butler.

"Come on, let's go"

I followed him until we made it to a nearby parking lot which was deserted except for a black mustang parked by the entrance. Doesn't he despise me? Isn't he disgusted of me? Its strange how this strange sexy beast just appeared out of nowhere and decides to take me-out of all persons-with him. I'm filthy, not in any shape to be welcome by anyone. If it wasn't for my fath-

"Are you ok?" I was jolted by to reality. Why does he have to look so good? I mentally shakes my head. Why am I even thinking that?

"Yea.." I didnt think that I should step in his car, I was really dirty and didn't want to mess up his beautiful machine.

"What's wrong?"

"Nothing.." I hesitantly stepped into the car. He closed the door beside me and walked towards the driver's door. Once in the car, he started the ignition and drove off. A lot of questions pondered me. What does he want with me? Is it my 'father' that sent for me? He didn't even introduce himself. What is his name? As if reading my thoughts, he looked away from the road and took a quick glimpse of me.

"My name is Jason. I don't like to see homeless girls like you on the street. It reminds me of-." He lets out a sigh. "We're here."

He pulls up in front of two large gates which led to a large mansion that captivated me. It was a pearly white two floored building, made out of marble stones. I now knew where I was. The King's palace. I guess.

Mr. Princ- I mean Jason, shut off the vehicle, and turned to look at me.
"You alright?"

I looked at him speechless. I blinked once. Then twice. I still couldn't believe what was happening to me. From my mother dying, to being on the street, to this.

"Hello?"

"Yeah. Sorry."

"Let's go then"

As I stepped out of the car, I was greeted by the screaming of a girl looking to be in her teen years, being chased by who I assumed to be her brother.
