I was shaken and I woke up remembering that I passed out in Nick's car.

"Finally, for a second I thought you were dead." He chuckles lightly. I laugh as well and we sat in silence for about five minutes. "Well, I should go." I break the silence. "Yeah" Nick says lightly. I unbuckle the seat belt and open the door to get out. Before I close the door I say "Thanks for taking me home." He nods but he doesn't look at me. I close the door and right when I do Nick speeds off and I jump from the loudness. That was weird.

I make it upstairs, barely but I made it. I unlock my door and I hear a ring from my phone. I check and it was from Jake, when did I give him my number? I drank way too much. I ignore the call and then made my way to the couch and passed out.

The next morning I woke up to my alarm that I always had set for seven thirty in the morning. Waking up at the same time each morning always worked for me, but not necessarily right now because I have a major headache. This is why I never drink. I get up from my couch and go to the cabinet and grab a Advil and a glass of water. Once I'm done take the pills I put the the glass in the sink and I hear the door open. Bri was tiptoeing through the room not noticing my presence there.

"I can see you." I laugh. She jumps for a second and giggles saying "I thought you were still asleep." I point to the kitchen clock and say "It's seven thirty." She nods "Oh, yes I forgot that you wake up at that time everyday."

"Are you just now getting home?" I ask. "Yes, I fell asleep actually more like passed out at the frat house. I just didn't want to drive drunk. The real question is where were you and how did you get here?" She turns the tables on me.

"Well, I was trying to look for you and long sorry short that guy Nick you were talking about gave me a ride home because I was way to drunk looking for you. Remind me again to never go to those parties." I say. "Wait, hold up. Nick gave you a ride? As in the popular head of the Delta Zeta Nick?" She acted so shocked I mean like was the guy a really big deal.

"Yes, that Nick. Why? Is there something I'm missing here?" I laugh. "No, it's just that Nick isn't the type to just take a girl home without getting something in return." Bri explains. I wonder what Bri was talking about. I mean Nick didn't come off rude at all to me only he did act weird when he dropped me off.

"And what is that something in return." I ask in curiosity. Bri motions her tongue in her mouth and her hand indicating that she means a blowjob. "Bri, you are so gross" I walk up to her and push her arm a little bit. "I'm only being honest. Don't waste your time on him. Anyway, what are you doing today?" Bri pushes the Nick topic aside. I walk out of the kitchen and into my room leaving Bri to follow. "I have to go to the bookstore and get a book for Lit class" I go into my closet and choose a black light long sleeve shirt, blue jeans that are a little flared out at the bottom, and my worn out white converse. "Your going right now? It's only eight." Bri says. "Yes I'm going I need to get it done because if I don't-" I get cutoff by Bri saying "Then you will forget and it's better if you get it done yada yada yada. Well, while your off I'm gonna catch up on my sleep." Bri walks out of my room and I get changed into my outfit and put my hair up into a somewhat high pony tail.

I walk out the apartment and I make my way to the bus stop a few blocks away waiting to start my day.
