"O-Otou-san.." Aiko's small voice rings
Fugaku ignores the small neko and turns to Itachi.
"Your last mission was sloppy Itachi. Remember your the pride of our clan. I am counting on you to uphold the Uchiha name."
"Yes father.."
Aiko slowly continues to eat her supper. Sasuke looks over at Aiko in sadness and turns to his father.
"Father."
Again Fugaku ignores them and continues to eat. Mikoto sadly looks at her children and shakes her head at her husband. After dinner Aiko again tries to speak with her father but is brushed aside as he walks into his office. Her ears droop as well as her tail and whimpers in sadness. Itachi sees this and carefully picks her up.
"What's wrong, Ai?" He asks rubbing behind her ears
"F-Father...he's.." She tries to stutter
"Shh...I know, Ai. Let's go play ninja with Sasuke?" Itachi coes
She nods and the two walk back into the living room where Sasuke was helping Mikoto with the dishes.
"Mother can Sasuke play with Aiko?" Itachi asks setting the neko girl down
Mikoto glances at the dishes, then her children.
"Sure. Sasuke has helped me enough." Mikoto answers smiling
The twins cheer and Aiko leads her brother outiside. Itachi chuckles and slowly walks behind them.
