Okay, I hope you've all read or watched Hellsing/ Hellsing Ultimate. Otherwise, you may not know what's going on in this chapter.
A knock resounded at the large double doors.
"Come in," a female child's voice called out.
A man stepped into the room and bowed his head.
"Lady Integra, Walter has returned," the man said to the young girl sitting behind the desk, her face nearly obscured with papers.
"Oh really? Send him in once he has finished putting his things away. There are things we must discuss," Integra replied.
The man gave another bow of the head before leaving.
Integra was about to go back to her work when a voice called out from the shadows cast by the night sky, making her jump.
"Oh? So the brat still works here? I'm almost surprised that mouth of his hasn't gotten him killed," the deep voice said as a tall figure stepped out of the shadows, his immense body clad in red, gray, and white. His sunset eyes are obscured by his orange tinted glasses and his thick, dark black hair is covered by a large red hat.
"Your one to talk, Alucard. You have more of a mouth than he does, and I've only known you for a day! Shouldn't you be in your coffin or something?" Integra replied.
Alucard simply replied with a chuckle as he looked over the rims of his glasses, partially revealing his eyes.
Another knock came to the door followed by Integra bidding them entry.
"Lady Integra, I heard you wanted to..." Walter started as he walked into the room, stopping when his gaze was met with Alucard's. "Oh, so your finally awake?"
Alucard's smile widened as the they starred at each other.
"Wait, you two know each other?" Integra asked as she looked between the two of them.
"Unfortunately," Alucard said, still smiling.
"We met under your father's employment. Although, at the time, there was someone else with him," Walter said, causing Alucard's smile to drop at the end.
"Well, who was with him?" Integra asked, now looking at Walter for answers.
"Mrs. Caralina, or Cara, as we called her for short," Walter replied.
Alucard looked to the floor, as if deep in thought.
"Mrs.? Who was she married to?" Integra asked, suddenly curious.
"Actually, she was matted to Alucard. Although, being matted is the equivalent of being married, for vampires anyway," Walter explained.
"Whoa, whoa, whoa. Wait a minute, you mean someone actually stupid enough to want to marry Alucard?" Integra asked, her gaze falling to him before she fell into a fit of laughter.
Alucard's head slowly rose up and turned to Integra, the look on his face made Integra's laughter stop. Integra swallowed and trembled slightly before Alucard disappeared into the shadows he had appeared in.
After he was gone, Integra took a deep breath and recomposed herself.
"Well, where is this Cara now?" Integra asked, turning back to Walter. She was very interested in someone who could make Alucard act like that.
"Last I heard she was still in England before she moved to Africa," Walter replied.
"I want her tracked down and brought here," Integra ordered.
