Destiny Awaits

Chapter Eight

"Um-hello." I stuttered, seeming to be lost in his gorgeous eyes. They were as blue as the ocean. Suddenly around me there was the ocean. There was Mer swimming everywhere. 

"Shark!" One screamed and they all screamed. Since we were close to the beach, there was some people in the water. 

"PLEASE, HELP MY DAUGHTER!" I heard a woman scream. The shark was swimming towards a little girl in floaties. She had no idea what was happening. 

Suddenly the horrifying scene around me disappeared and was replaced with my family calling my name and shaking me. I took one look at them and swam out of the castle. 

"Shark!" Someone screamed. 

"PLEASE, HELP MY DAUGHTER!" I whipped my head over to where the little girl was and saw the shark swimming closer. I flicked my tail and instantly was in front of it. 

"Shoo! Go! Bad!" I said loudly and started hitting it and shooing it away. I kicked it in the nose and blood trailed in the water. It looked and me, turned around, and swam off. I grabbed a strap attached to her floaties and pulled her to the sand bar. Seeing the mother running into the water, I swam off. 

"Des, you're a hero!" Hailey said, swimming up. I rolled my eyes. Please.  I brushed her off and swam away. Getting on land, I crawled under the pier and dried of my tail as I had seen Stella do. Ugh, Stella. I don't ever want to see her again.

After my tail went away, I stood up. I started walking along the beach. My shoes in my hand, I was lost in deep thought. I didn't realize I had bumped into someone until I felt a pain in my head. I had run right into a beautiful man. 

"I'm so sorry, I didn't see you there!" I sputtered, captured by his beauty. 

"It's okay. I'm Gage." 

"I'm Destiny. People usually call me Desti or Des." I rambled. 

"Would you like to walk with me?" 

"Sure." I blushed. 

"So, from the area?"

"Yes, I absolutely love it here. It's totally gorgeous and the Me-" I caught myself. "The marina is amazing." I finished, saying marina because it sounds fitting.

"Ah, yes. I quite love it myself." I smiled. How was it possible for someone to be so sweet? Turns out, it was too good to be true. He smiled, stopping at a car. He raised his hand and everything went black.

I opened my eyes to find myself in a short dress, tied to a bed. Gage walked in and grinned sickly upon seeing me awake. 

"Gage, let me go." I said, struggling against the zip ties he used to tie me to the bed posts. 

"Not happening anytime soon sweetheart." He said, pulling the blankets down. He slipped a hand under my dress and into my panties. I struggled and cried. He stripped me and I felt horrible pain. He hit me over and over. Hurting me harder down there. He pulled me close to him and I saw my chance. His hot breath came close and I pushed my lips to his. He was surprised, but he kissed back. I pulled away. 

"I could make this more amazing baby, but you gotta untie me. I promise I'm not going anywhere. You're too amazing." I said, breathless. I just prayed it would work. 

He untied me and I wrapped my arms around his neck and my legs around his waist. I couldn't escape, so I had to do this. My phone buzzed on the side table and I looked at Gage. 

"I have to answer it." 

"NO!" He growled and slapped me. I grabbed his face and turned him to me. 

"Shh, baby. I have to, or else they are gonna get worried and come looking. It's okay. I love you." I said in my most seductive and soothing voice.  He nodded.

"Hello?" I said.

"Des where the fuck are you?!" I heard a voice crack from the other end.

"Hey Shawn. I'm just getting my nails done, then I'm going to get my hair dyed and my nose and lip pierced. Then I'm going to go watch Supernatural!"

"But Des you hate those!"

"I have to go Shawn, bye." I said and hung up. He knows I hate all of those things. He should do something.

"Now we can get back to us." Gage said, growing hard in his member. I smiled, mentally throwing up.

He smiled back and pushed me down onto the bed. I struggled as he got very rough. He hit me and choked me until I was blue. I hit him back and grabbed my phone, dialing 911.

"911, what's your emergency?" Gage hit me and pulled me back. I pressed speaker phone.

"MY NAME IS DESTINY FAITH AND I'M BEING RAPED AND ABUSED!" I screamed. He hit me and the voice came again.

"What is your location?" The operator asked.

"I DON'T KNOW!" I squealed as Gage punched me in the nose. "LAST I KNEW, I WAS AT-" I shrieked as he roughly twisted me arm. I hit him back. "THE BEACH IN MIAMI FLORIDA!" I screamed as he cut me with something. Blood streamed down my arm. He cut deep.

"HE CUT ME AND I'M LOSING BLOOD! HURRY!" I screamed and he ended the call. Then my sight was black.
