Destiny Awaits

Chapter Two

"I was thinking we could go to the beach?" Hayley asked as we exited the theater.

"Sure lets go!" I said. Hayley always keeps extra bathing suits and towels in her car, thank god for that!

We pulled into the beach parking lot and got out, grabbing our things. We set out our towels by the water. (If you're wondering, they changed in the car)

"Let's go in!" Hayley shouted.

"Okay." I said laughing. I ran into the water and dove, getting as far as I could before I ran out of breath.

I poked up my head and gasped. I wasn't at the beach. I was in a little cave.

'What the hell?" I wondered out loud.

It was getting dark. I didn't know how to get out of here. The water started turning colors. first it was red, then orange, then yellow, then green, then blue, then purple, repeating the process. I freaked.

"What am I going to do?!" I yelled.

"I can help you." said a tiny voice behind me. I looked back. There was a little girl, maybe about 5-8. She had curly red hair and dazzling green eyes. She was wearing a dress that was pink.

"What's your name sweetie?" I asked.

"Stella Moona." she answered proudly.

"What are you doing here?" I asked her.

"Father said you needed help, so I swam here."

"Well can you help me get home?" I asked her.

"Yes I can."

"Come on." she said, grabbing my hand. She jumped into the water and started swimming. But what I saw freaked me out. she had a tail.

We got to land and I thanked her. She flicked her tail and she was gone.

It was about midnight. I got back to the Magcon house and entered the door.

"DESTINY HOPE FAITH!" Kyle screamed. He came and hugged me. I hugged him back. All the guys were there and looked worried.

"I got lost, sorry." I said shrugging. I wasn't going to tell them about Stella.

"I don't give a damn about what you say." My phone started to ring.

"Hello?"

"Hey Destiny it's Gilinsky."

"Hey Gilinsky what's up?"

"Well I'm in Walmart and this girl says her name is Stella. She won't leave me alone and wants you so I don't know what to do."

"I'LL BE RIGHT THERE!"

"I have to go guys." I said, rushing out the door. I drove to Walmart.

"Gilinsky where are you?"

"I'm in the candy aisle."

"Okay on my way."

I ran to the candy aisle.

"Stella!" I exclaimed. "What are you doing here?!"

"I need to talk to you." She said, urgency in her voice.

"Jack, I'm fine, thank you, I'll be home later."

"Come on!" She said, tugging at my sleeve. She brought me to the beach. Then she pushed me into the water.

"Hey!" I yelled.

"Look." She said quietly, pointing. I looked where she was pointing and almost screamed. I actually did scream, but Stella covered my mouth.

She got in the water. She pulled me along to the cave. She pulled me out of the water and I sat, staring at my tail. My tail.

I looked at her tail. Hers was just like mine, but smaller to fit her body.

My tail was blue. And it was pretty.

"You get your tail any time you touch water." She said to me.

"O-okay." I answered.

"Watch this." She said, smiling.

She pointed her hand at the water and it came up. I gasped. There was water in the air. She shaped it into two dolphins and solidified it. It was now glass. She giggled and gave it to me.

I swam back and lugged my tail out of the water. Stella put her hand in a fist and aimed it at my tail and there was steam, then suddenly it was gone and my legs were there.

"See you tomorrow!" she giggled then swam away. I went back home, clutching one dolphin carefully. Stella had the other one.

I walked into the door.

"BOO!" Mahogany screamed and I screamed too, dropping the dolphin.

"No." I whispered. My hands flew to my mouth. I dropped into a ball, waiting for the crash, but it didn't come. I looked up. Mahogany was frozen. So was the dolphin.

"You froze time."

I whipped around. Stella was there. I hugged her. She was just so cute.

She touched Mahogany on the shoulder and Mahogany an she unfroze.

"Thanks Stella." Mahogany smiled and hugged Stella.

"You know Stella?" I asked.

"Yes." She replied.

"I'm your sister." Stella said quietly, staring at the dolphin.
